A Delicious Taste of Home in Ancash!
Wowwww! My coworker recommended this spot, and I can’t say enough good things! After living in Ancash for two years, La Fina Estampa truly hits the spot and made me feel right at home.
Every plate was absolutely delicious, from the welcome bread with sauces to the anticucho and the famous lomo saltado, which was cooked perfectly. The pollada chicken was also fantastic! What a hidden gem that I can’t wait to return to!
My pictures don’t do it justice as I was too excited to jump right in, but seriously, it's a winner. What a wonderful spot with delicious flavors! My only recommendation would be to play some wonderful Peruvian music, and then I’ll be really right at home.
I love this spot and am already counting down my return!

Authentic Peruvian Cuisine with Generous Portions
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found the food to be deliciously authentic Peruvian. For me, authenticity means both quality and quantity, and this place delivered.
I left feeling completely satisfied, unlike at another highly-regarded Peruvian restaurant in SF. As a Peruvian myself, I'm usually a harsh critic of my people's cuisine, but this restaurant earned a perfect 5/5 for food. The service was also excellent, rated 5/5, and the atmosphere was equally impressive, receiving a 5/5.

Authentic Peruvian Comfort Food Gem
20 out of 10 🌟! As a very picky foodie, I found this place to be a true gem. I was looking for authentic homemade style comfort Peruvian food, not fancy Peruvian, and this restaurant delivered exactly that.
The food is made from scratch with fresh ingredients that were so yummy. My husband even drank the leftover ceviche "soup/juice"! We enjoyed the Lomo Saltado, Pollo Fina Estampa, and Ceviche de Pescado.
This restaurant and its food truly made my day.

Authentic Peruvian Gem in Northern California
I've been a loyal patron of La Fina Estampa for two decades, and I'm surprised it's taken me this long to share my experience. As a Peruvian, I can confidently say this is the only place I'll go for my traditional dishes. It's by far the best in all of Northern California.
Visitors, this place is an absolute must-try! Trust me, you won't be disappointed. The husband and wife team personally cook everything from scratch, ensuring it's fresh every day.

Outstanding Food, Cozy Atmosphere
Though the neighborhood in which the restaurant is located is a little sketch, the restaurant itself is very cozy. Prices are pretty average for the city, but the quality of the food is outstanding. I got the cangrejo relleno and the flavor was amazing, but so was the amount of crab.
I would come back.

Hidden Gem with Amazing Peruvian Flavors
This place is a true little hole in the wall, but the food is fire! I had the chicha, and it's honestly one of the best I've ever tasted. For lunch, I ordered the saltado de mariscos, and the quality of the food for the price was outstanding.
It cost about $17 for a decent-sized plate, which included bread and a choice of soup or salad. The chicha was $5, but I enjoyed it so much that I ended up buying a whole jar for $12. Overall, my meal came out to around $30 for a full-sized, satisfying experience.
Considering that this is the cost of a small appetizer elsewhere, the food here was incredibly good. As a Peruvian, this meal truly hit the spot. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Hearty Peruvian with a Peaceful Vibe
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful. The food is hearty and traditional Peruvian. The atmosphere is very old and peaceful, reminiscent of older restaurants in Lima.
It's an amazing place, and I highly recommend it.
