My experience at this restaurant was great! I had a solid carnitas burrito that really hit the spot. The service was fast, and the ingredients were fresh. Although I'm not supposed to like burritos from outside San Diego, this one was an exception.

I waited over 10 minutes, and during that time, I saw seven people leave because they couldn't wait. There were seven people working behind the counter, but only one person was taking orders, leading to significant delays. The atmosphere, however, was quite pleasant, scoring a 4.

They even offered to cut the burritos in half, which was a thoughtful gesture on a busy Sunday afternoon. The burritos were all freshly made and delicious, and my guests absolutely devoured them. It's a really top-notch place, and I can't wait to have another party and place another order.

I've been a loyal customer here since I was 16, and now at 37, the food is still just as amazing as I remember. I even recall Mary working here! After leaving for 15 years and returning home, the food quality remains consistent. The only new thing is that they now accept cards, which I'm still getting used to, lol. The service and atmosphere are both top-notch, rated 5/5. It's great to see that the vegetarian options are highly recommended, and they offer a dedicated vegetarian menu. The kid-friendliness is a definite plus, and there's plenty of parking in their free parking lot. It's also wheelchair accessible with an indoor dining area. Just ask about dietary restrictions.

My experience at this restaurant was extremely unpleasant. I found what appeared to be a fly in my salsa, which nearly made me vomit. Initially, I thought it was a cockroach, but regardless, it was disgusting. 🤢 UPDATE: When I called to report the issue, the person on the phone was incredibly dismissive. They repeatedly denied that flies could be present, stating that everything is kept covered. There was no accountability and zero apology. This was particularly disappointing as I speak fluent Spanish and felt I could effectively communicate my experience. I will not be going back.

My experience at the restaurant for a family dinner party was positive. I had scheduled a 5: 00 pm pick up for 10 items, including 8 burritos, 1 quesadilla, and 1 order of nachos. I arrived at 4: 58 pm and was informed that my order was being prepared. I received my order by 5: 15 pm, which I was okay with, as I was concerned about the food getting cold or soggy if prepared too early. All the orders were correct, and the food was still hot when I got home. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and I absolutely LOVE IT! It's a pillar of the community and a staple of my childhood. I highly recommend ordering the shrimp burrito; you will not be disappointed! However, I would advise against getting take out, as they are not good at that.
