King of Thai Noodle House - Reviews

We've been coming here since it opened in the early 2000s. The service here is the best, and the food is great. It's our go-to comfort food, especially when it's cold. This location is conveniently situated in the heart of Union Square, near Macy's on O'Farrell Street.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially the food. While the place isn't fancy, the kitchen staff clearly knows what they're doing. The pad kra pow was exceptional, and I highly recommend asking for it with a Thai-style fried egg.

My experience at this restaurant was excellent. We ordered the chicken fried rice and red curry dishes. Both were outstanding in terms of both taste and quantity. We left feeling full and very satisfied. I will definitely be coming back.

My experience at this restaurant was very positive, especially regarding the Thai dishes. The prices were average, and despite the place being busy and crowded, we were fortunate to get the last open table for two without any waiting time at 8 pm on a Wednesday. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. While the tables were tightly packed, making it just 'ok' for kids, the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. Parking is paid street parking and can be difficult to find, with a warning about ticketing and towing if meters aren't paid.

My experience at this restaurant was that of old school Thai cuisine. I had the green curry with shrimp on two occasions, and it was really good. The service was quick, and although they initially gave me a fork (with white bread), I was able to ask for chopsticks the next day. It happens.

This was our first time trying Thai food in San Francisco, and it was an amazing experience. We visited King of Thai Noodle House while visiting family from Thailand, and it was truly lovely. Sarah made our visit very comfortable and brought us some awesome food. We enjoyed Thai soup and Gai Pad Mek Mamuang, and the flavors were authentic Thai. For dessert, the mango with sticky rice was delicious. Beyond the pleasant visit and conversation, I would totally recommend this place for its authentic Thai food. It's definitely a go-to!

What an amazing place! The food arrived hot and was incredibly fresh and delicious. We were also treated super well by the staff, and the prices are accessible. Highly recommended for a very tasty meal!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience. We ordered the Crab Rangoons, Thai fried chicken with fried rice, and the combination beef noodle soup. Everything we tried was incredibly fresh and yummy. A notable aspect was how quickly the food came out.

I am a little disappointed. I have eaten here in the past and the food was good back then. Now the food is so-so, not as authentic as before. Just disappointed. Did they have new ownership? I might not go back for a while.
