I look forward to coming here every single time. I’ve never had a bad experience with the food, staff, or restaurant. The sweet owners have never failed to welcome me in and create such a happy environment. They by far have been my favorite food spot to go to in San Diego.

TL; DR eat here. I don’t say this lightly: this place delivered the best burger and fries I’ve ever tasted in my life. From the first bite, I knew it was on a whole different level. The cranberry and Brie burger was perfectly cooked — juicy, flavorful, and seasoned just right — with toppings that actually complemented the meat instead of drowning it out. The bun held everything together without getting soggy, which is a small miracle in itself. And the fries? Absolute perfection. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, with the kind of fresh-from-the-fryer taste that lets you know they actually care about what they’re serving. I could’ve eaten another whole order by myself. The quality, the flavors, and the attention to detail made the whole meal feel like something special. My experience at this restaurant was amazing. I had a video chat date planned with my long-distance fiancée and was initially concerned about the noise level. However, upon explaining my situation, the bartender, Chris, was incredibly helpful. He suggested the upstairs patio area, even offering to let me turn on the lights myself. This act of kindness, coupled with his friendly demeanor and no-pressure approach, made a huge difference. I enjoyed my meal upstairs, and after a fantastic three-hour date, I came down to pay the check. The burger and fries were also outstanding and truly hit the spot.

This place is an absolute gem. We were out biking with our kids and came across it. It has a super fun atmosphere and a great roof patio, making it very family friendly. The staff are some of the friendliest people ever, and they know everything that goes into their food and drink because they make everything in-house.
