Disappointing Change in Pizza Quality
I'm unsure what has changed, but the restaurant is not the same as it used to be. The dough seemed over proofed, and this was supposed to be extra pepperoni. It appears they have switched to making sheet tray pizzas, as there were none of the crispy edges I remember from before.

Delicious Pineapple Dish, Would Return
Last night was my first experience at this restaurant. It was easy to find. I ordered the sweet pineapple dish, which was really good.
They were generous with the pineapples and capers. I enjoyed it and would return.

Consistently High Quality Dining Experience
I’ve been here a couple of times and it’s always high quality. I enjoyed a simple cheese pizza and along with the sautéed artichokes & mushroom starters. 👌 I dined in the outdoor area.

Quality Decline Since Last Visit
My experience at this restaurant has been a bit disappointing lately. I feel like the quality has gone south since I first tried it a year or so ago. I will report back if my next visit wields a better outcome.

Polite Service, Great Pizza!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! We arrived just 4 minutes before closing, and the staff were incredibly polite and still served us. The pizza was also very good!

Joyride's Pizza Quality Decline
What happened Joyride? This is not the pizza I remember from the year you first opened, but a sadder version of your former self. The quality seemed to have taken a dive and the dough is not as thick and seemed undercooked.
The cheese and flavor also tasted off.

Delicious Pizza, Worth the Wait
My experience at the restaurant was centered around their delicious pizza and creative pizza topping options. I particularly recommend the Meatzza. However, there was no available seating inside to wait for my pizza, which was a bit of a drawback.
Overall, the experience was worth the wait.

Joyride Pizza: A Detroit-Style Delight
My experience at Joyride Pizza on Valencia Street was fantastic! I was looking for something bold, fresh, and deeply satisfying, and this spot delivered. They specialize in Detroit-style pizza, which is a must-try.
The crust is perfectly crispy-edged and thick yet airy, and the toppings are vibrant and creative. The display case is eye-catching with colorful, square-cut pies that taste as good as they look. What truly impressed me was the quality and variety of their offerings.
Whether you're a meat lover or vegetarian, there's a delicious square for everyone. Classics like pepperoni and sausage are packed with flavor, and gourmet options like 'The Sweet' with ricotta and basil, or the veggie-loaded 'Shrooms, ' really hit the spot. Each slice felt like a mini meal – rich, chewy, and crispy, clearly made with care.
The service was friendly and fast, and the ambiance was casual and bright, with plenty of natural light and outdoor vibes from the large glass windows, making it a great spot for lunch or a quick dinner. The prices are fair considering the generous portion sizes, and I loved that I could mix and match slices. If you're in the Mission and want Detroit-style pizza done right, Joyride Pizza is an easy win.
Highly recommended!

Good Pizza, Pricey and Small Space
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The pizza was really good, earning a high rating. However, the price was on the expensive side.
The desserts were just okay. The place itself is small and doesn't offer much sitting space, which could be a drawback for some. Overall, the food quality was excellent, but the value and atmosphere were less impressive.

Overpriced and Oily Food
My experience at this restaurant was that the food was pretty oily and overpriced. You order at a screen. The food was tasty enough, but I felt it was not worth the $15 price tag, considering it should have been around $9.
The service and atmosphere were also not great, with scores of 3 and 2 respectively.
