Accidental Discovery: Delicious Pizza & Great Bartenders
We stumbled upon this place by accident and had a great experience. The bartenders were super nice, and I'd recommend trying their boozy soda, also known as alcoholic root beer. The pizza was delicious; we tried both the veggie and meat versions, and both were amazing.
The only downside was that it was a bit crowded.

Best Pizza and Local Beers!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found the best pizza in San Francisco here, and the local beers from Woods were so good. We've been going back often!

Disappointing Detroit-Style Pizza Experience
As a Detroit-style pizza shop owner, I was curious and hopeful checking out this place, but I left pretty disappointed. The dough was dense and underdeveloped, likely the result of a short fermentation, maybe 48 hours at most. It lacked the airy, open crumb and crisp you’d expect from a well-made pie.
The pizza I ordered, with custom toppings of pepperoni, mushrooms, and olives, appeared to have been par-baked, probably as a plain cheese pie, then topped and re-baked. This resulted in a floppy slice with uneven heat distribution; the cheese under the toppings wasn’t fully melted, and the base was soggy. The frico (crispy fried cheese) didn’t travel fully down to form a full skirt and collapsed under the weight of the bland sauce.
The tomato sauce tasted like it came straight from a can with minimal cooking, making it bland. On the plus side, the Czech Pilsner was good. The bar area had a cool vibe, and the beer selection looked solid.
The garden out back was modest but fine. Generally, it's a good place for a beer. Maybe the garlic knots are good.

Good Pizza, Bad Service
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The gluten-free Detroit-style pizza was very good, and I also enjoyed the beer and wine selection. However, the service was not up to par.
A hipster dude with an awful attitude took our order, offering no smile, no hello, and no hospitality.

Woods: A New Favorite Spot!
My experience at Woods was fantastic! After a happy hour event nearby, this place truly hit the spot. I've been to Joyride in SoMa, but Woods has definitely raised the bar.
I loved how large the venue is and the large selection of pizzas, wings, drinks, and desserts, ensuring there's something for everyone. It's a perfect spot to hit up for a night out!

Not Real Pizza, Nice Wine Bar
My experience at this restaurant was that it's not really a pizza. It's more of a square bready thing. However, the toppings were nice.
It's a nice relaxed wine bar to chill out with friends, but don't come if you're on the hunt for good pizza.

Joyride Pizza Delivers a Satisfying Feast
My experience with Joyride Pizza was for delivery and it was good. Very good. Although I was very hungry, Joyride Pizza delivered an extremely satisfying gorge fest.
The Ranch, Red Pepper Flakes and Parmesan Cheese came in a generous 3. 25 oz cup, which was a pleasant surprise compared to the usual small packets from other places. My partner described the Meatzza as "It's bacon is just.
Bacon. " The Sweet Heat Pineapple pizza is perfect for when you want something different in all the best ways (I suggest adding sausage). To finish, the NY Cheesecake is simply a darn good cheesecake.
If you're still reading this, I highly recommend that you just order it already.

Delicious Detroit Style Pizza!
This is a nice place to sit down and enjoy a drink. The atmosphere was so tempting that I got a drink even though I don't usually drink. The Detroit style square pizza we got was good.
It looked pricey, but it was actually good and quite filling. I also noticed a wide variety of food on the menu and would love to try other items next time I visit.

Great Pizza, Friendly Staff, Good Music
I came here alone for a late night pizza and beer and was struck with how great even just their standard pepperoni was. The workers were all incredibly nice and generous with their time, and the music was just hit after hit.
