Excellent Staff and Delicious Brunch!
After flying in from North Carolina, I stopped in for drinks and a quick brunch. My experience was fantastic! The owner and the entire staff were 10/10. The food and drinks also hit the spot!

Amazing Owner, Great Vibe!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The owner is simply amazing – so personable and a smart cookie! The atmosphere is great, with both inside and outside seating options. I highly recommend trying the healthy smoothie that tastes good hehe. The restaurant is conveniently located in Point Loma, near art shops, spas, and salons. Definitely check it out!

Great Venue, Terrible Food
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to the food quality, despite the venue itself being great. I was really hoping it would become "the breakfast spot, " but they clearly need someone who knows how to cook properly. If you decide to visit, I'd recommend sticking to the pastries and coffee.

A Memorable Local Eatery Experience

Disappointing Service, Won't Return
This was my 1st and last time going to this restaurant. I didn't even get to finish ordering, so I can't comment on the food, but the service interaction was disgusting. From the moment I walked in, the older woman running food was rude, short, and unpleasant. I was initially told I couldn't sit on the back patio because it was "closed" at 10: 30 am, despite the restaurant being open until 2 pm. My only seating options were in direct sun or nothing, as all shaded tables were occupied. I was instructed to order via QR code, which I don't mind. While waiting for a friend, I started my order. When other tables opened up, we moved to a shaded table. Shortly after, the same staff member, whom I'll call "Negative Nelly, " returned and scolded us for switching tables without permission and for choosing a table for four instead of two, claiming it would prevent accommodating a larger party (even though the restaurant was empty). She then proceeded to scold us about the QR code being specific to each table and that she would have to inform the chef of our move. At this point, I was completely over her unpleasant tone. I had wanted to try this place for a long time, but this experience was enough to make me not want to waste my money on shitty service for a basic breakfast meal. To the owner: you run a breakfast place, which is common in this neighborhood. What could have set you apart was your food options and service. However, breakfast food is generally basic and similar everywhere. Service can make a HUGE difference in business success, and your front-of-house staff certainly made an impression on potential new regular patrons. We ended up going to The Fig Tree in Liberty Station, where they have consistently provided excellent service and good food for years.

Hidden Gem with Delicious Food
If you don’t mind waiting a bit, this is a hidden SD gem. The owner is on site daily and is very professional, warm, and caring. While the staff is friendly, they are limited. The location is great, with historical decor and a wonderful ambience. The food is delicious; the Oatmeal is bomb! and the Sticky buns are dangerous! . It's a great spot for locals.

Disappointing Breakfast Portions
My breakfast experience was extremely disappointing. The pictures online were deceiving, and my meal was the size of a toddler's portion. For $25, I expected much more. Honestly, Denny's would have been a better choice. My French toast was as small as two cookies, and the bread had a sponge-like texture. The only positive was that the coffee was good.

Unpleasant Customer Service Experience
My experience here was unfortunate due to the customer service. I was slighted twice by the staff within a minute. I was told I couldn't sit outside, even though the patio was empty, citing "tax purposes" for ordering to-go. I was then escorted off the property without any option to stay or pay extra to eat there. I should have told them to take the extra 30 cents from their 20% tip.

Bizarre Wrap, Limited Service
My experience at this restaurant was marked by a unique service model where interaction is intentionally limited, which could be perceived as either a positive or negative depending on personal preference. The main point of my visit, however, was the chicken bacon BBQ wrap. It was constructed in such a bizarre way that it seemed impossible for it to have been made recently. The chicken breast pieces were dry and unseasoned, and the BBQ sauce was applied as if it were an afterthought, creating an uneven distribution rather than a cohesive flavor. A better preparation would involve seasoning and marinating the chicken, or applying the BBQ sauce before wrapping to ensure a more even spread throughout the wrap.
