Cozy Coffee Spot Near the Zoo
My experience at this chill coffee spot near the Zoo was quite pleasant. The menu offered a good variety, including bagels, bran muffins, breakfast burritos, sandwiches, and salads. The service and atmosphere were both rated a perfect 5, and the price per person was reasonable, falling between $10–20.

Small portions, high price, not worth it
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The portions were small for the price charged. I ordered a cold brew that cost $7, and half the glass was filled with ice.
The bacon burrito, which only contained egg, cheese, and bacon, was extremely small and priced at $15. 50, which I found ridiculous. The cafe itself felt like an old, make-shift kitchen.
Overall, it was a weird place, and I definitely won't be returning.

Great Veggie Burrito & Beach Vibes
Yum! I had a solid veggie burrito that was hot when I picked it up. I love the vibe here; it's great to see families, bikers, and people playing chess all inside, and it's just one block away from the beach!

My family and I stayed in the neighborhood Easter weekend and really enjoyed this Cafe. The vanilla latte and soda bread were particularly good. Wonderful location and service.

Good food, but order issues
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food itself is good when your order is correct. However, on my last two visits, my order was made wrong.
When I asked for it to be fixed, they were out of the correct items, which was frustrating. The atmosphere was pleasant, rated a 4, and the food quality also received a 4. The service, however, was rated a 1, likely due to the order inaccuracies and lack of available items to correct them.

Cozy spot with good coffee and pastries
My experience at this restaurant was cozy and friendly. While the indoor seating is a bit small and cramped, they offer both indoor and outdoor seating options. I enjoyed their teas and good strong coffee, along with a small selection of yummy pastries.
The service and atmosphere were excellent, rated 5/5. Parking was easy with plenty of free street parking available.

Cozy Spot with Decent Coffee
My experience at this restaurant involved ordering at the counter. The food was a bit pricy for the portion. However, the drip coffee was decent.
The place looked cozy and the toilet was clean.

Kid-Friendly Gem Near the Zoo
Java Beach Café by the zoo is a hidden gem for families! It’s the perfect spot to grab a quick bite, enjoy a good coffee, or treat yourself to a pastry. The best part?
It’s incredibly kid- and baby-friendly. They have plenty of high chairs, booster seats, and even a bathroom with a changing table—which makes all the difference when you’re out with little ones. A lifesaver after a morning at the zoo!
