Convenient Hotel Restaurant with Good Value
My experience at this restaurant, conveniently located within The Hotel Spero (IHG) with an additional street entrance, was surprisingly positive. Staying at the hotel made it incredibly accessible. I found the food to be reasonably priced and quite good.
The service was also good, though it almost prevented a higher rating because I had to ask for drink refills despite the server walking past with empty glasses. I would definitely eat here again, just as I would stay at the Hotel Spero again.

Disappointing Experience, Avoid This Place
We hoped this little bar opposite our hotel would serve as a place for an easy and decent bite to eat while avoiding jet lag. Despite seeing mixed reviews, we took a chance due to its proximity. Unfortunately, only one person was serving both the bar and waiting tables, leading to a delayed and wrong order.
The place had little to no atmosphere and felt like it was begging to be bought out and refurbished. It was a tepid welcome to the city. For a much better experience, we recommend trying Tad's or Pinecrest for a much better dining experience.

Upscale Denny's Delivers on Food
In an area with many trendy dining options, I wondered how an upscale Denny's would fit in. To be fair, the food I had – a traditional 2 eggs breakfast, yogurt parfait, and waffle – were all very good, with the parfait being the best. The coffee was reminiscent of my dad's (Folgers).
My breakfast was provided as a voucher with my room. The service was prompt upon sitting down, and the food was served promptly.

Delicious breakfast, but surprising extra charges
My breakfast experience was good, the food was delicious. However, the prices were not as advertised. While a tax fee is understandable, other charges were revealed at the end.
What started as a $136 bill ended up being $200, which was an unpleasant surprise.

Excellent Service and Delicious Food
My experience at this restaurant was very good. The service was excellent, and the food was yummy. I particularly want to highlight the manager, Brian, who goes out of his way to help and serve customers.
I've been enjoying both breakfasts and dinners here while staying at the nearby hotel.

Great Drinks and Appetizers Downtown
My experience at this restaurant was great for grabbing a drink and a couple of appetizers before walking around downtown. The food was good, and the service was efficient. It's a nice spot for a pre-exploration bite.

Impressive Hotel Restaurant Experience
I’m staying at the Spero Hotel right next door, and I couldn’t be more impressed with this restaurant attached to the hotel. The staff is incredibly warm, welcoming, and making the experience feel personal. As for the food, everything on the menu looks fantastic in the photos and lives up to the presentation in real life.
I tried the pretzel, and I have to say, it’s hands down the best one I’ve ever had—perfectly baked, flavorful, and unforgettable!

Illegal Discrimination Against Disabled
I visited this restaurant a few days ago for lunch with two friends. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the soccer game playing; the place looked friendly. I am permanently disabled and have a small dog as a service animal.
The waiter initially smiled and we sat by the TV near the door. After asking for water, we waited for 10 minutes with no service. A small Asian lady with glasses then approached and stated that no dogs were allowed except service dogs.
I explained that I am disabled, showing her my permanently disfigured hand and explaining that my dog helps me if I drop something, and that I also have a leg disability. She insisted I needed to show her my dog's papers, which is ILLEGAL TO DO. I reiterated that other than stating he was a service animal, I didn't have to provide further proof, but I showed her my VISIBLE HANDICAP.
I asked if she knew her actions were illegal, and she nodded, confirmed she did, and told me I had to leave. I asked the waiter if he was aware of the illegality, and he confirmed he was, appearing to feel bad. I then requested a card and began recording her on my phone, intending to post the video on social media platforms.
This establishment and its staff broke the law and discriminated against a disabled person. I strongly advise avoiding this place at all costs.

Luxury Breakfast and Dinner at Spero Hotel
My experience at the Spero Hotel in San Francisco was luxurious. I had both breakfast and dinner there, and the food was exceptional. The service provided by Bryan was also great.
I highly recommend this hotel.
