My experience at this restaurant was outstanding. I had by far the best cheesesteak I’ve ever eaten, and the service was great as well. If you visit SF, this is definitely the place to go to. I 10/10 recommend it.

I was in the Marina looking for a place to watch the World Series and was thrilled to discover Jake’s. I had an amazing sandwich, which featured a garlic twist on the classic Philly. The vibes were even better. Junior, the bartender, was incredibly friendly and conversational, ensuring my glass was always full. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in the Marina.

The service was clearly struggling to keep up with online demand, leading to a very long waiting time for customers.

My experience at this restaurant was transformative! I had the Original Philly Cheesesteak with Cheez Wiz, and it was exactly how it's supposed to be. I can honestly say I'll never put provolone on a cheesesteak again! These sandwiches are sooo good that I ate four of them in three days – they are truly addictive. The restaurant itself is quaint and lively, perfect for enjoying a cold draft beer while watching football. It's a really great place to hang out. The staff is attentive and prompt. I've tried cheesesteaks in TX and MO since eating here, and they don't even compare. Job well done!

I ordered a Philly cheesesteak for pickup via DoorDash and ended up eating outside the restaurant. I noticed a couple nearby who ordered the exact same thing. To my surprise, their sandwiches had double, if not triple, the amount of meat compared to mine. While she struggled to hold her generously filled sandwich, mine was disappointingly empty and mostly bread. The food quality, specifically the portion size of the meat, was a major letdown.
