More Rice Than Beef for the Price
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. The food itself was good, but the portion size of the beef was disappointing. I ordered beef with rice, and there was significantly more rice than beef.
The beef pieces were so small, like something a baby cat would nibble. I felt like I was paying $15 primarily for rice, with the green peas and other vegetables appearing larger than the beef. This imbalance in the dish was the main issue.

Best Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings!
I stumbled upon this spot randomly during my trip to SF, and I have to say—their salt and pepper chicken wings might be the best I’ve ever had! The food received a perfect score of 5, and the service was also rated a 5. It was a great dinner experience.

Disappointing Portion Size for the Price
I was disappointed with how little food they give when it is so expensive. They didn't even fill half of the plate, which I found to be outrageous.

Excellent Spicy Mongolian Chicken
I've been a patron of this funky little hole in the wall for over 30 years, visiting off and on. My experience with the food has been consistently excellent. I particularly enjoy their Mongolian Chicken, which is both good and spicy.

Authentic Asian Food Since Childhood
My experience at this restaurant has been consistently super good and authentic Asian food. I've been coming here since I was a little boy, which speaks to the enduring quality of the food. The food quality is rated a 5, and the Wor Wonton Soup is a recommended dish.
The atmosphere is also highly rated at 5, and the service is good at 4. There's plenty of parking available, making it convenient for lunch visits.

Decent Wonton Soup, Room for Improvement
I stopped by this restaurant after attending a nearby Junkjournal event, looking for a quick bite before heading home. At first, I considered the spot next door (which was completely empty), but this place was packed with families enjoying their meals—always a good sign! I ordered the duck wonton noodle soup.
The presentation was on point, and the duck itself was flavorful. However, the broth? A little underwhelming.
Nothing that a couple of spoonfuls of soy sauce and chili oil couldn’t fix! Once added, the flavors instantly came to life. I asked if the soup came with vegetables, the waitress said yes, but I only saw two pieces of bok choy.
When I ask for vegetables, I mean an array of vegetables. I should’ve been more specific? Service was solid—attentive staff, no complaints there.
The restaurant itself, though, could use a bit of upkeep. Would I go out of my way to eat here? Probably not.
But for a quick and decent wonton soup when you're already in the area? Sure! 🍜
