Delicious Food, Great Wine List
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The shareable format was perfect for trying a few different dishes, and everything we had was delicious. They also have a long and intricate wine list, and the staff did a good job of helping us navigate it.

Great Drinks, Poor Service Experience
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. The wine was great and the snacks were tasty, earning a 4 out of 5 for food. However, the service significantly detracted from the overall experience.
Despite having a 5: 30 PM reservation, our server rushed us, stating twice that she needed the table back by 7 PM, even though our reservation was for two hours. She also pointedly cleared dishes and glasses while we were still enjoying our drinks. This felt like terrible hospitality, making us feel like a bother and rushing us to leave.
The service score was a low 2 out of 5. The atmosphere was rated a 4 out of 5, with moderate noise levels.

A Damn Gem with Incredible Food!
My experience at this restaurant was a damn gem. The food is incredible, and the people working here are so cool. We wandered in on my birthday and were so glad we did.
I highly recommend ordering the focaccia bread; it will change your world. The music is also a vibe.

Mixed Feelings on Food, Great Service
My experience at this restaurant was marked by very friendly service and a warm atmosphere. We decided to try a variety of dishes, ordering all the appetizers, along with the black cod and pork. While the food was not bad, I was surprised by the rave reviews it receives.
Many of the dishes were extremely salty, and the portions were small, especially considering the prices. The wine selection was great, but I wished for more beer options. Despite these points, it was worth trying.

Good Food, Service, but Price Concerns
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, with friendly and attentive service from a consistent front-of-house team. The food was very good; we enjoyed the focaccia, beef tartare, chicken, black cod, cheesecake, and cobbler. There was a minor miscommunication regarding chicken orders, but the portion was sufficient for sharing, and they offered to make another, which we declined.
While the food was delicious, the cobbler was slightly cold in the middle, and the vegetable portion with the chicken felt a bit small for the price. I've noticed the menu has shrunk and prices have increased since my last visit, which might deter me from returning soon. We also noted that our graduation celebration, mentioned during booking, was not acknowledged, though this was not a dealbreaker.

Cozy Spot with Good Wine, Small Plates
My experience at this cool little spot was quite pleasant. They have a nice wine selection, which was a definite plus. The dishes were generally on the smaller side, but the gnocco was a standout – it was indeed one large, very good gnocco.
My least favorite dish was the black cod.

Cute Haight Spot with Solid Wine
This is a cute wine bar and restaurant located in Haight. The wine selection is solid, but the food was a hit or miss and quite pricey. Overall, I would come back for the good vibes and to try other dishes.
I enjoyed and would recommend the Shrimp Louie, loving its different flavors and textures. The Mushroom Ragu Pappardelle had perfectly al dente pasta, but the mushroom ragu was too salty.

Bar Jabroni: An Unforgettable Culinary Experience
We’d been hearing about Bar Jabroni forever but finally snagged a res and WOW. Every single thing we ate was unreal. We kicked it off with the beef tartare (Szechuan peppercorn, kumquat, like, yes?), then tore through the house focaccia with whole milk ricotta.
That bread was gone in seconds. The romanesco cauliflower was such a surprise hit - charred, nutty, saucy, crunchy - all of it. For mains, we got the strozzapreti with pork sugo (so rich and cozy) and the black cod pil pil, which was buttery, flaky perfection with these crispy potatoes I still dream about.
The wine? A+++ no notes. Perfect pairings, super interesting list.
We wanted to try everything. Vibe is laid back but cool, like a wine bar and a bistro had a hot, fun baby. Honestly the whole thing was a 10.
We’re already planning to go back and order everything we didn’t get to this time.

Great food, but service was intrusive
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was excellent, earning a solid 4 out of 5. The atmosphere was also a highlight, rated a perfect 5 out of 5.
However, the service was quite disruptive. Despite the positive aspects of the food and atmosphere, the constant reminders about our departure time every 15 minutes made the experience very annoying.

Food to Die For, Tremendous Wine!
My experience at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic, especially regarding the food and wine. The food was truly "to die for, " and I was particularly impressed with the Shrimp Louie, which was so good I almost ordered an extra to take home. I also tasted two pasta dishes that were "out of this world.
" The wine selection was tremendous, with recommendations that were "spot on! " I enjoyed several glasses, each paired perfectly with a plate. My 11-year-old daughter also loved the food, eating everything without complaint, even raw oysters.
