Delicious Noodles and Friendly Service
My experience at the restaurant was great! The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the wonton and cha siu noodle soup, which was delicious.
The cha siu was particularly tasty and tender. I'm looking forward to trying other dishes next time.

Authentic Chinese with Prawn Wontons
My experience at this Chinese restaurant in SF was really great. The wontons were some of the best I’ve had, featuring big pieces of prawn inside. I also enjoyed the eggplant clay pot dish, which tasted very authentic.
The service was incredibly quick.

Enjoyable Wonton Noodle Soup
I had the signature wun-tun noodle soup, which was quite enjoyable. The flavours were accurate, and the wontons were large. The noodles were slightly on the firmer side, but not unusual for the type of noodle.
No complaints about my experience here.

Flavorful but Salty Soup
My experience at the restaurant involved trying their wonton and noodles, which were above average. The soup was traditional and flavorful, though it leaned a bit on the salty side. Overall, the food received a rating of 4, service was 4, and atmosphere was 4.

Exceptional Food, Serene Ambiance, One Gratuity Caveat
My experience at Wun Tun House was largely positive, with the food being a true delight. The noodles and dumplings were genuinely exceptional, flavorful, and satisfying, a testament to the high standards required to thrive in Chinatown's competitive culinary scene. The ambiance also added to the experience; it was calm, peaceful, and joyful, allowing diners to savor every bite without distraction.
The service was respectable, and I came with tempered expectations, knowing the focus here is on the food. However, there is one caveat: for parties of six, the restaurant automatically includes gratuity. I personally prefer to reward service based on merit.
Overall, Wun Tun House earns my recommendation as a place where great food and a serene dining atmosphere meet.

Authentic Wonton Soup Perfection
My experience at Hon's Wun-Tun House in San Francisco was fantastic, offering a truly comforting meal. The soups were delicious, featuring a rich and well-balanced broth. I particularly enjoyed the noodles, which had the perfect bounce and thickness, making each bite satisfying.
The chili oil was fresh and aromatic, and I highly recommend adding it to the soup for an extra kick. Each bowl was generously filled with plenty of meat, making it a hearty option. The service was fast and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions.
It's an easy five-star choice for anyone craving authentic, flavorful wonton soup and noodles.

Best Wonton in the Bay Area!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially for a cold Bay day. I found the best wonton in San Francisco, if not the entire Bay Area. It was truly comfort food.
The food quality was rated a perfect 5 out of 5. The atmosphere and service were rated a 3 out of 3, indicating a decent experience in those areas. The price per person was between $10–20, and there was no wait time.
I visited for lunch with a group of 3-4 people.
