Significant Transformation and Price Increase
This restaurant has undergone a complete transformation. It is no longer a casual neighborhood eatery but now operates as a fine-dining establishment. Prices have significantly increased— for example, a takeout duck now costs $70, more than twice the average price elsewhere. Be sure to check the updated menu before visiting, as older photos no longer reflect the current dining experience. I’ve attached the new menu for reference.

Delicious Duck and Noodles!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I had the duck with rice and greens meal and the noodles, both of which were incredibly delicious. The portions were also impressively large. The food was rated a 5, and the atmosphere was equally enjoyable with a 5-star rating. Overall, it was a great place to get a delicious meal.

Delicious Duck, Terrible Service
My experience at this restaurant last December was a mixed bag. I highly rate the roast duck here; it was very fragrant, crispy, and delicious. However, the staff's attitude was truly rude. They seemed grumpy, yelled at customers, and struggled with basic English communication, resorting to gestures and guesswork. When it came time to pay, we had to wait for change until another couple intervened and translated. Another customer mentioned that the staff had cursed at us. The overall business practices were hard to understand, and I definitely won't be returning.

Sad to see Chinatown location closed
I am sad to see that the Chinatown location has closed. I read that they have opened a new location in the Tenderloin and a sit-down location in Bernal Heights. My experience at the restaurant was positive, with a Food score of 5, Service score of 5, and Atmosphere score of 5. The recommended dish was Honey BBQ Jowls, and the price per person was between $20–30.

Best Roasted Meats, Worth the Price
My experience at this restaurant was defined by the best Roasted meats in the city. While it's not cheap, you definitely get what you pay for. The Roasted Duck was incredibly flavorful, the roasted pork was perfectly crispy, and the Char Siu was delicately charred. I do wish they would offer Roasted Goose.

Inconsistent Quality, Great Duck
It’s true what they say, you’d be hard pressed to find a better roasted duck anywhere in the Bay Area. I’ve been ordering delivery from this location for a number of years, but unfortunately in recent months the quality has become unpredictable. Half the time it’ll be as incredible as I remember, and other times the rice is over cooked into mush and they use lower-quality meats. On good days it’s definitely worth the steep price, but a major letdown on bad days. I find myself ordering less often because it’s a roll of the dice.

Best Cantonese Roast Duck Ever!
My experience at this restaurant was exceptional, particularly with their Cantonese Roast Duck. No doubt, it's the Best Cantonese Roast Duck in the city. Even when ordered through Doordash, the skin remained crispy. The flesh of the breast was moist and succulent, despite being well done. It’s definitely a must-try when in the city.

Good Roast Duck, A Bit Salty
All over social media, people are saying this place has THE BEST roast duck in the country! So I had to check it out for myself. I got half a duck, and this was plenty for my boyfriend and I to share. If I'm being picky, the duck was on the salty side. However, it's very flavorful and savory, not very sweet like other places. The duck pieces didn't have a ton of meat on them, but the pieces that had more meat were pretty juicy. Overall, not the best duck I've had, but definitely good quality! I'd recommend it to those visiting SF Chinatown.

Roasted Duck: Good Taste, High Price
If you're willing to pay around $50+ for roasted duck, then the taste is acceptable. However, when you don't eat the fat, skin, or bones, there's very little duck meat left. I'm giving 4 stars for the ducks themselves, but not for the price. By May 2024, this place had permanently closed its business.
