Delicious Teriyaki Combo with Great Service
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. I really liked the chicken and shrimp teriyaki combo. The corn slaw and salad were a nice touch on the side, offering a pleasant change from the main dish. The portion of 8 shrimp felt quite generous for the price. The rice, especially when dipped in the teriyaki and oil sauce at the bottom, was a standout. The service was friendly throughout, and I was impressed by the speed of service. I regret not trying this place sooner.

Perfect Family Dinner Spot!
This was the perfect dinner spot on our way back home from some errands. We had our baby with us and were always on the lookout for a family friendly spot, and this definitely was! We were greeted with super smiley and friendly staff, who were waving at our baby and making her laugh. The restaurant was clean and they had an extensive menu of delicious options. The beef yakisoba was filled with veggies and a generous portion of meat. Highly recommend this gem in Lake City!

New Owners, Awful Teriyaki Sauce
My experience at the restaurant today was quite disappointing. There are new owners, and I encountered an issue with the food. I have no idea what sauce was on my chicken teriyaki, but it was disgusting. Due to this experience, I will never go back there.

Clean Upgrade, Great Menu TV
My experience at the restaurant was positive overall. The store seems much cleaner after the upgrade, and the new TV for the menu is a great addition. The atmosphere was rated a 5, and the service also received a 5. The food was rated a 5 as well. The noise level was quiet, making it easy to talk. Vegetarian options were available with a dedicated menu or section, and it's highly recommended for vegetarians. The wait time was no wait at all. The price per person is estimated at $10–20.

Great food, fast service for takeout
My experience was focused on takeout, and the food was very good. The service was also fast. I can't comment on the atmosphere as I always pick up my orders.

Delicious Food, Great Service & Value!
The restaurant was very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly :) The portions were genuinely large, so I ate until I was full, and the price was also cheap, which was great 👍 The taste was also really delicious ❤️

Quality Decline and Price Hike
This used to be my go-to neighborhood teriyaki spot, but the quality has gone down dramatically and the prices have gone up drastically. I suspect new ownership. The chicken is no longer cooked with a sear and lacks flavor, and the gyoza are barely cooked. While they still offer free soup, it's not the same; it's now a red soup. What was once a "Lunch Special" for $12 not long ago is now a "House Special" for $17. I understand prices have increased across the board, but a 40% jump is significant.

Amazing Food and Service!
My experience ordering to-go on Labor Day was exceptional from the moment I walked in. The staff member who took my order was incredibly friendly and helped me choose the spicy chicken. While I waited, I was offered a complimentary bowl of hot and sour soup, which was delicious! To top it off, I received a package of cookies just before leaving. I was so appreciative of the great service and amazing food. The portions were large and the food was very delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Exceptional Service and Attention to Detail
My experience at this restaurant was outstanding. The older gentleman at the counter, possibly the owner, paid immense attention to detail and presentation. He was also very kind. To enhance the waiting experience, they offered complimentary soup, which was a thoughtful touch.

New Ownership Shines at Himitsu Teriyaki
My recent visit to Himitsu Teriyaki was a delightful experience, and it's clear the new owner and staff are doing an incredible job! The bento box I ordered was a true highlight, showcasing their commitment to quality and presentation. The presentation was excellent, with each component neatly arranged in its own section of the box, displaying a vibrant array of colors and textures. The star of the meal was the perfectly cooked salmon teriyaki. It was flaky, tender, and coated in a delicious, savory glaze that wasn't too overpowering. The shrimp tempura was crispy and light, a wonderful contrast to the rich salmon. I also really enjoyed the chicken teriyaki; the meat was juicy and flavorful, complementing the fluffy white rice. The fresh salad with its light dressing and the side of corn added a nice touch of freshness and balance to the hearty proteins. The menu board offered a huge variety of options, from teriyaki and fried rice to yakisoba and stir-fry, all of which looked amazing. This spot is a definite gem, offering great food, generous portions, and a wide selection. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try another one of their specialties, and I highly recommend supporting the new team!
