Fantastic Burger Joint with Barrio Logan Charm
I checked out this place with a coworker during our lunch break. The exterior and interior definitely capture the Barrio Logan feel, with the inside featuring a lot of 90's knick-knacks that contribute to its unique character. For food, I ordered a Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, and house 1000 island, along with Jimi Fries, which came with American Cheese, House 1000 Island, and grilled onion.
The grilled onions were the highlight for me. Overall, this place goes toe-to-toe with In-N-Out and is fantastic. It's a bit pricey, but it's nice to support local businesses.

Great Food, Terrible Value and Service
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The burger was great, earning a perfect 5 for food quality. However, the overall value was poor, with a $25 price tag for a cheeseburger, small fries, and a soda.
This is significantly more expensive than comparable meals elsewhere, like Chicago Fire Grill for $10. The staff seemed to hate us, contributing to a negative service experience. The atmosphere was average, rated a 3 out of 5.

Good, but too expensive compared to In-N-Out
My experience at this restaurant was decent, but ultimately, I feel like with In-N-Out around, I wouldn't come back here. The food was good, but it's a lot more expensive.

Burger Perfection, Fries Just Okay
No surprise why this is one of San Diego’s best burger places. I highly recommend the burger. The fries were just okay.
But the burger was perfection!

Authentic Burger Perfection at Hayes
My experience at Hayes Burger was fantastic! I enjoyed a simple, good old-fashioned hamburger. It tasted exactly how a burger should.
Unlike the fancy restaurants where the meat gets lost in "signature" ingredients, at Hayes Burger, you can truly taste the ground beef, cooked to perfection. Hats off to Hayes Burgers!

Tasty Food, Pricey Burger, Menu Mix-up
I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries. The food was all tasty, but the burger patty didn’t have much crispiness. I also thought $15 for the double cheeseburger was on the pricey side since it’s a pretty simple burger.
A minor thing, but it was also a little frustrating that the drink options didn’t match what was on the menu.

Yummy Burgers, Greasy Fries, Great Service!
My experience at this restaurant was soooooo yummy! The smashed cheeseburgers were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Jimi Fries, with American cheese, thousand island, and grilled onions, were good but a little more greasy than expected.
The service was friendly and served with smiles. We even got to meet the cooks, and they were cool too. We will definitely be back!
Please note that parking is challenging and seating is mostly outside with limited options.

Best Burgers in San Diego!
I was told these were the BEST BURGERS IN SAN DIEGO? That's a lofty idea, but it turned out to be true. From the bun to the beef, this burger was truly special, especially with that generous slice of cheddar.
The Logan Heights location was worth the drive. Thanks, Jose!
