How are the prices at Harajuku Sushi?

You’re looking at roughly 49 per person – reported by 32 diners. That puts it in the $41–$50 category. For a Japanese Restaurant, it’s comfortably mid-range: not a steal, but not bank-breaking either.

While the average is 49, the prices aren’t all clustered there. We see a good mix, with many diners spending in the 31 – 50 $ range, but also a fair number opting for more premium experiences, stretching into the higher price points.

Here’s a quick look at what guests spend per person, based on the latest 32 reviews.

How this Japanese restaurant’s value stacks up against similar spots in San Francisco.

Overall, we think the pricing feels pretty fair for a Japanese restaurant in San Francisco. It offers a good balance, catering to both those looking for a solid mid-range meal and others wanting to splurge a bit.

Amazing All-You-Can-Eat Sushi Experience!
My best friend and I were told about this spot by another friend and decided to stop by for dinner, and we will most definitely be back again! It's an all you can eat sushi spot with silver or gold options (a literal $5 difference). We got the gold option, which gave us 2 options from a select menu, and it's 6 items per table. You can order again every ten minutes after you've eaten everything on the first order. We went three rounds before tapping out; we got so full! You get miso soup AND WHITE PICKLED RADISH! I love white radish, so I was so happy lol. Our server, Nicole, was super sweet and also happy to hear I liked the radish and filled our bowl completely full when I asked for more. She was super helpful as well since it was our first time there and we didn't realize we hadn't put our second order in and came over to assist us. 😀 All of the sushi and the appetizers were absolutely delicious and made super quickly. The Tuna Tatar, Super California roll, Lion King roll, Spider roll, and the soft shell crab hand rolls were my favorite! (I love soft shell crab and they had so many options). There is also nice jazz music playing (I do believe from a live band next door), and we really enjoyed that while eating. When we got ready to leave, Nicole told us to wait, and she ran back and brought us each a small Haagen-Dazs ice cream to take home! We will most definitely be back again! The price was honestly so cheap. Had we gotten the same amount at our usual sushi spot, it would have cost so much more. I didn't take many photos since we were hungry 🤣, but everything was super delish!

Disappointing AYCE Experience
I visited on a Sunday for dinner and was seated quickly as the restaurant wasn't crowded. I opted for the AYCE silver plan. The waitress was helpful, explaining the ordering process and answering my questions. You can order up to 6 items per round. Unfortunately, the fish and cuts were not fresh, leaving me with a disgusted and uneasy feeling about what I ate.

Excellent Food, Disappointing Policy Change
My first experience at this restaurant was excellent, with sushi that was both fresh and very delicious. The appetizers were also great. However, upon returning this past week, I was informed by the server that they no longer offer all-you-can-eat for a single person, only for parties of two or more. I'm not sure why this change was made, but I got up and left since my desired option was no longer available. I won't be returning ever again 😠🤯😤.
