Chill Vibe, Great Community Support
I love this place! The vibe is chill and welcoming, and after just a month or so of visiting, I already feel like a regular. Extra points for supporting the bookstore down the block – that’s what I call an awesome community member.

Underrated Gem with Delicious Turkish/Kurdish Flavors
My experience at this restaurant was surprisingly positive, especially considering I'm not typically a fan of Greek food. I found it to be more in line with Turkish/Kurdish cuisine, which I greatly prefer. The lentil soup was addicting and incredibly tasty.
I also really enjoyed their hummus, which is saying a lot as I'm usually not a fan. The skewers, including the lamb, were also great. I definitely recommend their plates and the lentil soup.

Rock Solid Shawarma and Kabobs!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I was incredibly impressed with the rock solid lamb/beef schwarma and some of the best hummus I've ever had. The food is consistently fast, consistent, and tasty.
The lamb kabobs were also excellent. There's a good reason this is the only business that has survived on this corner for so long, especially considering the corner's past reputation for being jinxed for businesses. : -P
