Beat Dim Sum, Cash Only!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially the dim sum, which I found to be the best. The food received a perfect score, as did the service and atmosphere. It's important to note that this is a cash only establishment. For accurate operating hours, it's best to call ahead, as they mentioned closing at 5 PM on Saturdays.

Excellent Bao and Friendly Staff!
My experience at this restaurant was excellent! I found the bao to be superb, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Unlike other bao places in Chinatown, they had zero attitude and were not pushy or rushing customers. I've been there 4 times already and am still loving it! 😍

Delicious, Fresh, and Efficient Service!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The food was delicious, not greasy, and made with fresh ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the good flavor and thin skin. The limited amount made in small batches ensured everything stayed fresh. The nice counter person was so efficient. All good! ♥️

Fresh and Clean Sesame Balls!
My experience at the restaurant was great, especially with the sesame ball. It was very good, looked clean, and tasted clean, which suggests the oil they use is pretty fresh. I'd say the food quality was excellent.

A Must-Visit Dim Sum Spot!
Whenever I visit San Francisco, I have to stop here. Where I live, we don’t really have quality dim sum options, so visiting here is critical :). This place is well priced, quick for service, and delicious. For visitors unfamiliar with dim sum places, you gotta always bring cash. It’s cash only. I’ll definitely return soon.

Good Dim Sum, Lacking Sauces and Seating
We enjoyed the dim sum takeout items overall, but the best was the hargow and siu mai. The turnip cakes were also good. They only had plain rice noodles available at the time, which were a little thicker than we are used to. Unfortunately, they did not provide the usual sauce for the rice noodles, and they also do not have hot sauce. We wish they had seating for customers. It was a bit of a long wait because there was only one staff member initially, but eventually, a second one came along to help as a line was forming. The service was perfunctory.

Terrible Service and Food Quality
My experience at this restaurant was extremely negative. When I inquired about prices, the staff was very rude. The chicken bun tasted nasty, like old chicken that had freezer burn. I was shocked by the price of $3. 00, finding it unbelievable. The customer service was terrible, and the attitude of the staff was super terrible. I would advise against going here due to the inferior food and very low class establishment.

Great Dim Sum, Friendly Service
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, especially concerning the dim sum. The quality of the dim sum was great, and the prices were reasonable. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp, scallop, and chive dumplings. The staff were pretty good with English and friendly. It's worth noting that usually only one person runs the counter, and the place can get pretty busy. Sometimes, items are cooked to order, ensuring they are fresh and hot.

Great Har Gow, Cash Only
My experience at the restaurant was centered around their har gow, which had a great thin skin. It's important to note that they have a sign indicating cash only. In response to a previous comment about shark fin, the dumplings are not shark fin for $3. 50 for 3; the name refers to their shape.

Gourmet Dim Sum's Sad Decline
What happened to the Gourmet Dim Sum that we loved? It seems like there has been a recent change of ownership and chef. The menu and recipes have all changed. The steamed items are not what they used to be. Incredibly sad we’ll need to look for a new dim sum place. Two years ago, this was our favorite takeout dim sum spot with a curated selection of the classics! Their shrimp dumplings (har gow) were THE best on Clement Street - thin translucent skin with abundant, real shrimp filling. We liked to get all the steamed items here (har gow, shumai, scallop and cilantro crystal skin dumplings, etc.) and also the fried sesame balls and xian shui jiao. Then, if lines weren’t too long, we’d round out the takeout feast with coconut sweet rice balls from Good Luck Dim Sum across the street, fried shrimp dumplings, luobosi bing, and steamed bbq bun from Xiao Long Bao a few doors down. The best of the best on Clement Street!
