Fabulous Bartenders, Welcoming Atmosphere
This place is an absolute gem and is welcoming to all folx. My queer partner and I visit at least weekly and always feel right at home. The fabulous bartenders, Shane and Evan, ensure there's never a bad night.
It's a locals favorite 🤩.

Great Bar with Fun Amenities
My experience at this bar was great! It's a nice place with a pinball machine and a dart board, which made for a fun time. They also have an outdoor smoking area.
The staff were great, and the food was good. The atmosphere was rated a 5, and the service was also rated a 5. The wait time was non-existent, and it's suitable for all group sizes.
The noise level was moderate.

Unwelcoming Atmosphere and Poor Service
My experience at Glen Park Station Bar was disappointing. I came with the intention of having a good time, meeting new people, and supporting a local spot after just moving to Noe Valley. However, I found that friendliness and making connections seemed to be frowned upon if you didn’t fit a very specific clientele: white, cis, and San Francisco-native.
This sentiment was echoed by two other people I know, but I decided to judge for myself. I regret spending any money there. I was not only ignored but also told to "wait" in a cold tone by the bartender who was busy chatting with regulars.
In contrast, when my friend, who is blonde, asked for her drink, she was served immediately. My husband, a white man, also had no issue getting his beer.

Incredible Service and Atmosphere!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic, largely due to the exceptional service. The guy at the booth was incredibly kind and helpful, allowing me entry even though I didn't have a ticket. The atmosphere was rated a perfect 5, and the noise level was very quiet, contributing to a pleasant dining environment.
The service also received a perfect 5, highlighting the staff's attentiveness. While food wasn't explicitly detailed, the metadata indicates a perfect 5 for food quality.

Glen Park Station: A Welcoming Local Gem
I quit drinking before the judge ordered me to—how is that for initiative? Since that last call, no bar has captured my attention. Nor have I returned to any of the bars I enjoyed around here.
I’m from the east coast—a pub near a rail station which draws a crowd free of pretense is proper nurture. Glen Park Station is welcoming, comfortable, fun, and built for a night done right. They offer non-alcoholic brews for those who abstain, shot-and-a-beer specials for $12.
00, wine by the glass, and an indoor smoking lounge. A pinball machine which takes dollar bills, darts, and superior bar stools are available. Table seating is up front, and there's a rear patio.
No Apple Pay is accepted. The bar is situated near neighboring businesses that serve food, offering Vietnamese, Thai, and Mexican fare within a block. A bodega sits across from BART, on the same side of Diamond St. , and a pizza place is in proximity.
This area has a low-key dominance about it. It's a great spot for socializing, a walkable pocket of the city wherein small businesses sling good eats, and you have the option to get hammered. Parking is available in the public library lot after 6, 7, 8 PM during the week.
Street parking on the northbound lane of Bosworth between Arlington & Diamond is free in the evenings. I am not sure when the meters stop accepting payment—I pulled up at 7: 30 PM on a Monday. To those behind the wheel—be advised—residential streets intersect as sharp turns become sudden hills.
At all hours there are pedestrians, cyclists, and coyotes. SFPD often posts a patrol vehicle on Bosworth (south of the Arlington intersection) to eyeball the I-280 south on-ramp.

A True Neighborhood Gem
Shane and the crew made my month in the neighborhood feel like home away from home. It's truly a great place for community that happens to serve alcohol. If you're a fan of a good conversation, there may be no better place in the city to catch one.

Great local spot, worth the visit
This is a great spot for locals or if you need a place close enough to BART for an easy escape, especially during delays. While the drink selections and staff are limited, it's the kind of place that makes you realize you don't need all the extras. I had wanted to visit for a long time and am glad I finally made my way in.
