Disappointing Food and Service
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food tasted bland and seemed to be made from store-bought ramen packs. Furthermore, the server wasn't very attentive, and our order was wrong. The overall experience with food and service was a letdown.

Disappointing Experience with Poor Service and Food
I was initially very excited to dine here, but my experience quickly fell short of expectations. Upon entering, I was told to sit down, but then waited 10-15 minutes before a server approached to ask if we were ready, without even providing menus. It felt as though the server was attentive to other tables but not ours. After another 10 minutes of waiting for menus, we finally had the chance to order. The overall service was not great. I hoped it was just an off day, but then we received our food. There was a hair in the sushi, which was incredibly unappetizing and made it impossible to continue eating. I noticed that neither chef was wearing a hairnet or gloves, and they were handling various foods with bare hands. It was a disgusting experience overall. I managed to get the server's attention and informed them about the hair, and it was removed from the bill, which was appreciated. However, I will definitely never return to this restaurant.

Go-to Sushi Spot with Great Stew
This is our go-to sushi place. My husband loves the Korean beef rib stew. All the sushi is fantastic and the warm sake is so nice when it’s chilly outside.

Excellent Service, Great Sushi, Daily Visit
My experience at this restaurant has been consistently excellent. The customer service is outstanding, and the sushi is truly great, especially considering the prices. I visit every day because they always have food out really quickly. It's a must try!

Ignored and Unserved
My experience at this restaurant was one of being completely ignored. We came in and were never served, only receiving water. A white family walked in after us and they were immediately served and accommodated. We were totally ignored and will never be going back. The service was the worst ever.

Authentic Korean Flavors & Warm Service
This place has become a must-visit spot every time I'm in the San Diego area, and it consistently delivers a memorable dining experience. The food quality is outstanding, with every dish I've tried being delicious. This visit, the spicy pork and fish cake soup were fantastic. The spicy pork offered a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and salty, with less sugar than typical Korean restaurants, making it feel healthier yet incredibly tasty. The fish cake soup was an absolute highlight, evoking nostalgic childhood flavors from Korea. I've tried recreating it at home without success, but this restaurant nailed the authentic flavor. Beyond the amazing food, the service was warm and welcoming. Despite only one server managing multiple tables shortly after opening on a Sunday, she was incredibly friendly, efficient, and attentive. For those craving authentic Korean flavors in a cozy and inviting atmosphere, this spot is a must-visit. Whether you're reminiscing about home-cooked meals or seeking a delicious and satisfying dining experience, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend it!

Disappointing Fish and Nasty Sake
I visited around 2: 15 PM and ordered a Sapporo and some nigiri: tuna, yellowtail, ikura (salmon eggs), and albacore. Unfortunately, I was served salmon instead of yellowtail, which I don't eat unless I trust the establishment. The tuna lacked flavor, tasting worse than grocery store options. The yellowtail and albacore did not appear fresh, with browning on the ends. The ikura was also not fresh. The staff member working behind the bar, who was also serving tables and handling payments without washing his hands, assured me the fish was okay despite smelling it. He even suggested cutting off the brown parts. I also ordered hot sake, which I usually enjoy, but for the first time ever, I couldn't finish more than one cup as it was nasty. Getting my check took a long time because the staff member was engaged in a lengthy conversation with another table, and he seemed annoyed when I asked for it. I informed him about the poor quality of the fish and the bad sake. He apologized, stating that others liked the sake, to which I responded that this one was nearly full and would serve as his tip. You can find better food at the Carl's Jr. across the parking lot.

Best sushi experience in a long time!
My experience at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic. I'm traveling for work from Manhattan and was blown away by the freshness and deliciousness of the sushi. I can't get fish this good back home for under $120, and even then, the portions are minuscule. Here, I was absolutely stuffed and dreaming of more for under $75. It was truly an amazing dining experience.

Great Local Spot with Generous Portions
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. The food was good, and the portion sizes were generous, as usual. It's a nice local restaurant that offers great lunch special options. The food quality was excellent, and the service was also top-notch.
