Alright, lets talk about the food! Overall, it seems like a pretty solid bet, with a good score of 7.6 and customer satisfaction sitting nicely at 81.1%. Out of 53 total opinions, a whopping 43 were positive, highlighting delicious items like the "Takoyaki, " "unagi don, " and "curry katsu don.

" Many folks raved about the "crispy breading" on their katsu and the generous portions, often noting the great flavor and quality of dishes like the "gyudon with poached egg" and "unajyu / unagyu don. "However, its not all perfect, with 9 negative comments to consider. Some found the curry lacked a spicy kick, and there were specific complaints about the Beef Don being super tight and hard to eat or the rice being extremely soaked wet underneath the beef.

A few mentioned the meat in certain dishes, like the gyu don with pork, being tough or like chewing rubber band. So, while many dishes shine, a few might miss the mark.

Best Takoyaki in California!
My experience was fantastic! I had possibly the best Takoyaki I've ever found in California. The key is to eat it fresh and off the skillet; don't let it sit! 💯/💯

Disappointing Beef Texture
My experience at the restaurant involved trying the dashi-tsuyu onion beef with a soft-poached egg and scallions. Unfortunately, the beef was like chewing a rubber band, which was very disappointing. I'm not sure about other items.

Impressive Takeout Flavors and Quality
I ordered takeout from here and was super impressed with how well the food and flavors were kept. I enjoyed the classic gyudon with poached egg, which featured a light dashi broth, cuts of beef, green onions, caramelized onions, light seaweed, and of course a juicy poached egg. The pricing is fairly reasonable considering it's SF, and the quality of rice was notably good. My friend REALLY enjoyed the unajyu / unagyu don!
