Amazing Food, Frustrating Service Experience
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of amazing food and frustrating service. The kitchen staff was absolutely amazing, and the fish was excellent. Sitting at the bar is definitely recommended if you're a party of two, and the drink selection was fantastic. However, we had a huge gripe with getting a table. My girlfriend made reservations for two over a week in advance for 6 pm for a date night, and we had an event to get to at 7: 30 pm nearby. We arrived a little under 10 minutes before, knowing it can be busy. We checked in, and the waitstaff initially said it might be a bit because we were early, but we reminded them of our 6 pm reservation. Despite having the reservation info pulled up, she insisted we were a 6: 10 reservation and walked us around the bar to go upstairs to Coda. We passed three prepped two-seat areas at the bar that were presumably for other 6 pm reservations. We sat upstairs for 45 minutes before being told our table was ready. My girlfriend was upset, as we had to cut our evening short, and she felt bad. While I know seating is limited, it felt like we were tossed aside. For $150 on sushi, I would have expected much better service.

Amazing Speakeasy Sushi Spot!
While visiting a friend in Cleveland, we discovered this amazing, underground/speakeasy style sushi spot. The service was excellent, and the food was so good that pictures would speak for themselves. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for some good sushi.

Third Year at Ginko: Excellent Service!
This was our third year coming to Ginko, and we’ve always had Joey as a server. He always makes us feel at home and comfortable. Definitely one of the best! We will for sure be spending more great milestones in our life at Ginko to celebrate.

Amazing Sushi and Must-Try Dessert!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found it to be the best place for sushi in Cleveland, offering unique flavors and combos. Beyond the incredible sushi, the banana dessert is so good that it's worth making this restaurant a regular spot. The atmosphere and service were both rated a perfect 5, and the food also received a 5-star rating. While parking was somewhat difficult to find, the wait time was non-existent. The noise level was loud but still allowed for conversation. It's worth noting that while this location is not wheelchair accessible, a similar sushi experience can be found at Goma, another Dante restaurant.

Amazing Sushi and Great Happy Hour
My experience at this restaurant was amazing. I'd argue it serves some of the best sushi in Cleveland. The happy hour is great too. It's definitely worth trying a few times.

Overpriced and Unsatisfying Experience
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. I found it to be a monumentally overpriced place where we spent a huge amount of money and still left feeling hungry. It's simply not worth it anymore. The cost of $340 plus tip for a couple of drinks and two course tastings, which amounted to about $40 in sushi per person, just gets old. Even though I earn enough to be in the top 10 percent of income earners, it's still not worth the value. I question if normal people can even afford to go out to eat in this economy. I wish I had stayed home and saved almost $400. It was an unbelievable ripoff; I spent almost $400 to be pissed off and not even full. It's ridiculous, and I will never again return. Do not waste your money. I am still bitter about coming here, having spent $400 for two people for a couple of drinks and a little bit of sushi, and leaving hungry. I absolutely hate these restaurants, and this was the WORST of them. To hell with this place. This was by far the worst restaurant experience in my life. For a couple of drinks and two people, it was almost $400, and we left hungry. It was disgraceful. I would have preferred to be robbed on my way to the restaurant; it would have been more sensible and less disappointing than the robbery this restaurant pulled off. So, if you see me heading towards this restaurant, please stop me and just rob me; it's preferable to coming back here.

Pleasantly Surprised Vegetarian at Ginko!
I was pleasantly surprised by Ginko! As a vegetarian, I usually steer clear of sushi restaurants, but Ginko had options for me. There's a drink, something like Katanama, which is like an incredible Green Tea Margarita with a sugar Matcha rim – *chefs kiss*. The service was great, and the food and drinks were amazing. The space was a bit small, but it didn't even matter because I really enjoyed everything. Will be back!

Authentic Sushi, Worth the Splurge
If you've been searching for the perfect sushi place, one where you don't have to worry about authenticity or quality being embarrassing, this is it. It's the real deal. When people talk about sushi, this is what they mean. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score. Service was also top-notch, rated 5/5, and the atmosphere, despite being loud, allowed for conversation. The price point is on the higher side, $100+ per person, but for this level of quality, it's understandable. There was no wait time, and we were a group of 2.

Mixed Experience with Memorable Dishes
My experience at the restaurant was a mix of highs and lows. The food was generally tasty, and the service was good. Some dishes were truly memorable, while others were not. Specifically, the Takoyaki lacked any discernible octopus flavor, which was a disappointment. However, the Amebi was absolutely delicious. The wagyu with foie gras was also not as flavorful as expected, and I wouldn't order it again. Despite these few misses, all the other dishes were quite enjoyable, and I would gladly eat them again. It's certainly a place worth returning to.
