Disappointing Decline in Meat Quality
I used to go here all the time, but the past 4 or 5 times I’ve gone, the meat has come out so dry and chewy. I don’t even finish the bowl anymore. It's a real shame because my friends and I loved this place.

Tough Meat, Spicy Sauce, Awkward Portion
My experience at the restaurant involved some tough meat, which I don't think I would order again. The red sauce was quite spicy. I also found the portion sizes to be a bit awkward, wishing for an option in between the bowl and the plate.

Not the friendliest flame broiler
My experience at this flame broiler was not the best. I found the service to be sub par, and while the food was ok, it didn't stand out. Overall, it wasn't the friendliest flame broiler I've been to.

Order completely messed up
I wanted to praise the food, but my entire order was so thoroughly messed up that I can't. Upon arriving home, I discovered that 75% of my bowl was rice, which I specifically requested none of. The remaining 20% was cabbage and only 5% was meat. I had ordered half spicy Korean chicken and half beef bulgogi, but I received regular chicken and beef bulgogi. When I called to request a refund, I was informed that the owner would call me. I will update this review once they contact me with a resolution.

Instructions Not Followed, No Green Salsa
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. They never ever give out the green salsa. It seems they do not know how to follow instructions, nor do they ever read them. The service and food were rated a 1.

Great Spicy Korean Plate!
My experience at the restaurant was great. I ordered the spicy Korean plate instead of the bowl, and it was a large portion. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch, both receiving a perfect 5/5 rating. The atmosphere also scored a 5/5. Parking was convenient with a free parking lot and plenty of parking spaces available. The price per person was between $10–20, making it a good value for lunch.

Amazing Food, Terrible Service
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of extremes. The food was absolutely amazing, truly a highlight of the meal. However, the service was horrible. The server displayed a negative attitude towards everyone who came into the store, which significantly detracted from the overall experience.

Disappointing Chicken and Service
My experience at this restaurant was largely negative, primarily due to the poor service and disappointing food quality. The front counter staff was unfriendly, failing to greet me and acting as if I was an inconvenience. When I asked simple questions, she seemed bothered and even appeared to be filing her nails while looking at me. I felt unwelcomed. While the price of $10. 15 for a regular chicken bowl seemed reasonable and the place advertised itself as healthy, the food itself was a letdown. I chose half rice and veggies, with the veggies being large pieces of cabbage and a few small pieces of carrot and broccoli. The chicken was dry, chewy, and rubbery, tasting like overcooked pieces with black char, suggesting it was either old or rewarmed. I was very disappointed with this chicken. The advertised health benefits and hormone-free chicken didn't align with the taste and texture. I also decided against the 'magic sauce' as it looked thick and syrupy, which I found gross. I ended up feeling sick after my meal. 🤮 I would rather go to Panda Inn for a bowl. Stop the bots! This place is gross. Cheap protein 🤮.

Shrinking Portions, Rising Costs
My experience at this restaurant was marked by a significant issue: shrinkflation. While the food remains delicious and filling, the costs are up and the bowls are smaller. The portions have become disappointing, with the regular bowl now being the same size as what used to be the kids bowl. It's a shame because it used to be a meal that could easily serve two people. Their new tagline should honestly be, "Lite on Calories, Lite on Value! "

Mixed Experience at Flame Broiler
I love Flame Broiler! Unfortunately, this is the location closest to my home, and it's the sketchiest one I've ever seen. The walls are a disgusting lime green, looking old and grimy, and the few inside tables are always dirty. I usually order to-go, but this time, my parents and I ate inside before an event. We had to huddle around a small table for two until another table opened up, and I had to wipe it down myself. The woman at the counter got our order really wrong. We each ordered a regular bowl with no onions, but two dishes ended up with onions, and mine had to be remade. They also added avocado to my dad's dish, which he doesn't even like. When I mentioned it, she acted like we were gifted something, saying she didn't charge us for the avocado, but she also charged us for a plate instead of a bowl. The service was poor, with little effort to apologize for her mistakes or overcharging. I'll still go back for takeout, but I'll be scrutinizing the register very carefully!
