My friend and I took a chance on this place and were pleasantly surprised by the level of quality this location maintains. We enjoyed the great views and the incredible service. The nice buffet system was a new experience for me. While the price can pack a punch, I don't regret a dollar spent on anything I had. A special shout out to our host, Nathan, thank you for your service.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, largely thanks to Nate, a wonderful bartender. They offer a really great happy hour, and the rest of the food is also well priced. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect 5/5 rating, making for a highly enjoyable visit.

As a local, I love coming here for happy hour. The main dishes are superb because you can create them! This is the place to be in S. Lake Tahoe. Who doesn’t love it? Nate was a great bartender.

My husband and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary here, and the experience was excellent! All of the staff were just excellent people. A special shout-out to our cousins, Ken Allen and Cassius, for providing amazing service. Even though it was our first time, they made us feel like family! We definitely recommend coming here, y'all! My experience at this restaurant was marred by horrible service. Despite being seated with the promise of happy hour, it turned out that it did not apply. Our server and the bar staff never checked on us, and we faced a wait of over 10 minutes just to get the bill. On the positive side, the food was good, but that was the only redeeming factor.

My experience at the restaurant was made exceptional by our server, Nathan, who was incredibly friendly and honestly made the experience for me. The grill master, whom I believe was named Miguel, was also phenomenal.

We were excited to visit this hibachi bar and grill, but our experience was marred by being ignored by all of the staff except for one person who was providing instructions. When we went to select our food, the instructions were unclear on how to proceed. The two cooks were short-tempered and rude, speaking in Spanish about us, unaware that we understood the language. We left immediately after this unpleasant encounter. This occurred on a Friday night, October 24, 2025.

The atmosphere was rated a 5, and the noise level was quiet, making it easy to talk. The food was also rated a 5. We had no wait time, and the group size was 9+ people.

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic, largely due to the amazingly accommodating and helpful staff. Nathan, the bartender, and the chef were all wonderful. I was particularly impressed when one of the other servers helped me put together sauces for my surf & turf. It was a great team effort!

My visit to Fire and Eyes in San Francisco was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — the service was genuinely friendly, attentive, and warm throughout the entire evening. The highlight of the experience was definitely the grill — the flavors were rich, smoky, and perfectly balanced. The variety of dishes available was impressive, offering something for every taste. You can tell that a lot of care and passion goes into both the preparation and presentation of the food. One small suggestion for improvement would be to provide guests with a bit more information at the entrance about the different dining options and how everything works. It would make the experience even smoother right from the start. And of course, the view from Alcatraz is absolutely breathtaking — watching the sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge was the perfect finishing touch to an already unforgettable evening. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food, friendly service, and a stunning San Francisco view!
