My experience at this restaurant was hands down the best food I've had, and it was all gluten-free! As someone who is GF, having actual menu options beyond just a modified bun or a plain burger was a huge win. I enjoyed their fried chicken, gravy, and Mac and cheese, which were not substitutes but part of their regular menu. Our waitress, Sammy, was incredible and truly added to our evening. The food was so filling, and considering the atmosphere and the quality of the food, it was fairly priced. We are visiting, but would 100% go back. It was absolutely delicious! You must go. Sammy even brought out a blanket for us since we chose to sit in their outdoor seating.

We used to love this place, but for some reason, it’s gone downhill. It was disappointing as we were so excited. The fried chicken was dry and unsatisfactory, and the server seemed uninterested. We would advise against getting the short rib.

I must strongly advise against visiting this establishment. The owner's mistreatment of customers was appalling and without apology. While I rarely leave negative reviews, this experience was too frustrating to overlook. The woman claiming to be the owner was unbelievably rude and dismissive, showing no respect or apology, even for significant delays. Her defensive responses to online reviews, where she doubles down instead of taking responsibility, are particularly disappointing, especially for visitors to San Francisco who were excited to try this spot. We had a reservation made well in advance and even called ahead to arrive early, only to be rudely told off. After waiting outside until our reservation time, our table was still not ready for another 25 minutes. Staff were overheard gossiping about "difficult customers. " After waiting over an hour and a half in total, we decided to leave. While the food might be good, no meal is worth such poor treatment. Basic kindness and professionalism were absent. I recommend supporting other establishments in San Francisco that maintain their dignity.

I usually love this place and the atmosphere is great, with a perfect score of 5. However, my experience with the food was disappointing, scoring a 2. We specifically requested the trout to be well done, but it was barely cooked. This is a serious safety concern, especially with a pregnant person in our party. Thankfully, no illness has occurred so far. While the restaurant did refund the dish, it doesn't alleviate the fear involved. I hope they will listen more carefully when customers request their food to be prepared a certain way.

I never give 1-star reviews, but I am appalled at the terrible customer service shown to us for our two bookings of 4. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. I strongly advise you to avoid this restaurant and go elsewhere!
