Angry staff, poor service experience
My experience at this restaurant was marked by the poor behavior of the staff. The employees were not good and seemed very angry every time. I was not given my order inside, even though it was ready.
The service was a significant letdown.

Exceptional Pasta and Pizza, Worth the Splurge
My experience at this restaurant was largely defined by the excellent pasta and pizza. It's not easy to achieve such a high standard for cacio e pepe, which was cooked perfectly al dente and featured a well-balanced cheese and pepper flavor. The bottarga and Meyer lemon dish was another amazing highlight, with the deep-fried bottarga adding a delightful texture and the Meyer lemon aroma captivating the senses.
While the pizza dough could be a bit more airy, the kale pizza was still quite tasty. Desserts were just okay and not the standout of the meal.

Fantastic Meal and Service in San Francisco!
We were a group of 4 people and we absolutely loved our dining experience. My daughters enjoyed a pizza and a cheese pasta, while my husband and I savored spicy melon with ham and meatballs. Everything was exquisite!
The waiter was charming and incredibly helpful. If I return to San Francisco, I will definitely dine here again. It was great!

Delicious Italian with Great Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I enjoyed the delicious Italian food, which offered a wide variety of appetizers, pizzas, pastas, and desserts. It's a great place for sharing.
The atmosphere was also very pleasant, with ample indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of space for larger groups. The service was good, and the menu clearly indicates vegan or gluten-free options, including gluten-free pasta.

Cozy Cacio e Pepe and Lovely Outdoor Seating
My experience at the restaurant was delightful! I absolutely loved the Cacio e Pepe pasta. The lunch menu differs from the dinner menu.
The atmosphere inside is cosy and not too noisy, with an open kitchen. If the weather permits, the lovely outside seating is a great option.

Very Expensive and Bad Pizza
My experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. It's a very expensive place. I paid over $20 for a pizza that didn't even taste good.
I can definitely recommend other authentic Italian restaurants that are much better.

Undercooked Pasta and Unprofessional Staff
My experience at this restaurant was largely negative due to several issues. First, we were brought seltzer water without asking, which turned out to be an unexpected $8 charge. The only other water option was tap water that tasted unpleasant.
The service was also problematic; my bolognese rigatoncini pasta arrived 10 minutes after everyone else's, despite the waiter asking if we wanted our food served simultaneously. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The pasta itself was the biggest disappointment: the most expensive on the menu at $25, it was chewy, undercooked, and inedible.
When I requested a properly cooked bowl, I was offered only the gluten-free version. Furthermore, the entire staff appeared unprofessional, singing, dancing, and chatting amongst themselves instead of attending to customers. While my replacement pasta was better and my companions' meals were acceptable, I cannot recommend this restaurant due to the bad atmosphere, undercooked food, and overall inconvenience.

Great Happy Hour Deals!
I visited for happy hour today and found it to be a really good deal. The Arancini were fried well and tasted good, though I wished they were a bit more creamy and flavorful on the inside. The Fungi pizza was also good; it was a little salty, but as someone who isn't the biggest mushroom fan, I still enjoyed it.
The Four cheese pizza was simple and could have used a bit more cheese, but the crust and overall flavor were good. I would definitely come back for their happy hour deals and to try more items on the menu.

Fiorella's Cacio e Pepe and Pizza Shine
My experience at Fiorella on Polk in SF was excellent and did not disappoint. The cacio e pepe was one of the best I've ever had; it was simple, classic, and executed perfectly. You could truly taste the quality of the pecorino, and the coarsely cracked pepper provided just the right amount of aggression.
It was so good that it inspired me to try making it at home the next night. I also enjoyed their pepperoni pizza, which I honestly consider the best I've had in a while. The dough was soft and airy, offering that fresh, slightly elastic chew characteristic of a well-made pizza.
It had crisp edges but was tender underneath, with a nice balance of sauce and cheese. The pepperoni was also high quality, delivering those little crispy cups of flavor that hit just right. The atmosphere was great, embodying a classic neighborhood spot vibe with good energy.
I will definitely be back to explore more of their menu.
