Great Mumbai Cuisine in Queen Anne
My experience at this restaurant was quite positive. I absolutely loved the vada pav, and while I'm not from Mumbai, I found it to be significantly better than other vada pav I've tried. The chai came with 2 Parle G biscuits, which was a nice touch.
The restaurant has low-key Queen Anne quiet vibes and offers great Mumbai cuisine. I also appreciated the menu art and the overall theme of the restaurant. We also tried the Malai Kofta, which was good but had a slight aftertaste that was a bit strong for my palate.
The Garlic naan was good too! Overall, it's a solid option for the Queen Anne/Downtown area.

Disappointing Service, Great Food
My boyfriend and I regularly order takeout from this place after our other main spot closed down. We checked their hours and saw we had another hour to order, choosing the option to pick up our takeout 45 minutes before their closing time. Upon heading to retrieve our carryout, we were 10 minutes late but still 20 minutes before their scheduled closing time and pickup option.
I received 6 missed calls from the establishment stating they were closing and to come pick up our takeout. I answered the first call and let them know we were up the street. Upon arriving, the man stated they were mopping and to order earlier next time.
Noted, when we got our takeout, even though we were 10 minutes late, it was still well within the option of pick-up times on their website. Will not be ordering from them again.

Disappointing Takeout Experience
My experience ordering takeout, including butter chicken, garlic and herb flatbread, and a mango lassi, was just okay. The total cost was around $40. The chicken breast pieces in the butter chicken were very chewy, and the sauce was overly tomato-forward, lacking the spices and depth of flavor I've come to expect.
The accompanying basmati rice was tasty and not dry. I enjoyed the strong garlic flavor in the flatbread, though I prefer it slightly crispier. It was disappointing that the flatbread had to be ordered separately, as other restaurants usually include it.
The mango lassi was delicious and is something I would reorder. Overall, for a first experience, I was left a little disappointed, especially considering the higher prices.

Disappointing Indian Food Experience
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The Indian food was arguably the worst I've had in Seattle. The menu was very limited, and the food quality was sub par.
Adding to the inconvenience, there's a charge for parking. The only redeeming factor was the ample seating, which is likely available because the restaurant is largely empty.

Delicious Lunch and Great Service!
I had a delicious lunch and appetizer during my visit. It was also cool that they had a couple of beers on tap, which is a nice touch for a small place. The staff was really nice!
I'll definitely be coming back for dinner soon.

Disappointing Fusion Food Experience
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing, primarily due to the food quality. I found the paneer wrap to be horrible, and the pizza seemed to be made with store-bought naan with ingredients simply thrown on top. The dosa was also undercooked.
The food score was a 1 out of 5.

Consistently Disappointing Food Experiences
My experience at this restaurant has been consistently disappointing. On my first visit, the paneer patty tasted stale. Later, I ordered a Dosa, which was awful.
Most recently, after a year, I tried the Paneer Kebab, and it was bland. I have never had a good experience with their food.

Disappointing Dosa Experience
We visited Seattle in September 2025 and, after a quick cereal breakfast at our hotel, headed out to explore the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass. By around 3: 30 p. M.
, we were extremely hungry. Our original plan was to eat at Sangamam, but unfortunately, they were closed for a break between 3: 00 and 5: 00 p. M.
, and we had to leave for the airport at 5: 00. Thankfully, Far Eats Cafe was open nearby, and since we were craving dosas, we decided to give it a try. We ordered two masala dosas and one Mysore masala dosa.
When our food arrived, we expected sambar to be served shortly, especially since there were only two very small bowls on our plates—one with coconut chutney, and the other with a yellowish-green, watery substance. We waited, thinking the sambar was coming, but soon realized that was it. We’ve never seen anything like it called “sambar” before.
It had no recognizable flavor or texture—more like plain boiled moong dal than traditional sambar. There were no curry leaves, no mustard seeds, no vegetables, and none of that characteristic aroma or orangish color that you'd expect. As for the dosas, they were a disappointment too.
The crepe was paper-thin, brittle, and slightly bitter. The potato filling lacked flavor completely—just plain boiled potatoes with salt and turmeric, missing basic ingredients like curry leaves, mustard seeds, and onions. We’re not even comparing this to dosas in India—even in the U.
S. , we’ve had much better and more authentic South Indian food. It’s hard to understand how a dish like this could be served and marketed as “dosa with sambar.
” Overall, it was a deeply disappointing experience. On our way back, we went to Biryani and Curry King and got veg noodles and idly to go, and both items were delicious.
