Slow Service, Disorganized Takeout
My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing due to slow and disorganized service. My take-out order took an hour, and the food arrived at different times, resulting in everything being a different temperature before it even left the restaurant. For $100 for 3 adults, this was not a cheap meal.

Good Food, Poor Service & Dirty Bathrooms
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food quality was good, especially the dim sum. However, the service seemed to be severely lacking, with staff being short-handed.
This resulted in no one refilling tea and water, the kitchen being unable to complete orders, and difficulty finding staff to take our order. We also noticed the bathroom was dirty. Food arrived in batches, which further indicated the short staffing.
We even had to get our own take-away containers. It's important to note that this is a cash-only establishment, and with items being expensive, like the rice congee at over $18 for 4 servings, be sure to have large bills.

Delicious Food, Long-Time Favorite
My experience at this restaurant has been incredibly positive over the past 15 years. The food is very, very delicious, and I wholeheartedly recommend the entire menu. I was particularly impressed with the seasame ball, which they prepare using fresh oil, resulting in no fried oil smell.
Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Authentic Dim Sum with Parking Woes
I visited this restaurant for dim sum during lunch. The food was remarkably authentic, which was a pleasant surprise, especially since it's from Hong Kong. Unlike other dim sum places in San Diego that tend to be too salty or bland, this restaurant's food was perfectly seasoned.
The price is very competitive and even cheaper than when the previous owner ran the establishment. However, the parking lot is severely small and finding a space is difficult. They used to have an underground garage, but it's currently closed for unknown reasons.

Overpriced Dim Sum, Mediocre Experience
This long-established Cantonese dim sum restaurant boasts a spacious venue and private rooms, making it suitable for family gatherings or event dinners. I've visited many times before, but this was my first experience since the renovation. We were seated in a private room at a very large table, which offered good privacy.
However, the lazy Susan was extremely heavy and difficult to turn, which was inconvenient for serving dishes. While Cantonese roasted meats are a classic feature, they were disappointing, with a flavor that was rather lacking. The other dishes were just average, with the fried rice being the best.
Dessert was served after the meal. The cost was around $50 per person. Compared to a previous visit to 豪记, where I spent just over $20 per person and was extremely satisfied, my conclusion is that this place is overpriced for mediocre food.

Disappointing Dim Sum and Service
My experience at the restaurant was quite disappointing. The atmosphere was very noisy due to large tables of people. The dim sum wasn't as interesting as it used to be, which was a letdown.
Furthermore, the service was not good. We were initially told certain choices were unavailable, only for another server to bring them to us later, indicating a lack of coordination.

Good Food, Missing Togo Items
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. The food is good, but there's a significant issue with their takeout orders. About 90% of the time when I order for Togo, they forget to include the sauce for the shrimp roll dim sum.
The Togo department needs major change.

Disappointing Peking Duck Experience
I used to enjoy their Peking Duck, but this time it was very fatty with skin that was not crispy at all. It was served already cut up, which made it impossible to know when and how it was prepared. Due to this disappointing experience, I will not return.
