Best Peruvian in the Bay!
As a Peruvian, I've tried nearly every Peruvian restaurant in the Bay Area over the years, and honestly, they've never quite lived up to what we make at home. However, El Rincon is an exception. Everything here is absolutely delicious.
I can confidently say this is the best Peruvian place in the bay, by far. A+++.

Best Peruvian Hole-in-the-Wall in SF!
I visited this restaurant with a group of friends after a class at Danzhaus. As a Peruvian, I'm quite particular about Peruvian restaurants, but this place exceeded all expectations. It's truly the best food and a fantastic hole in the wall in San Francisco.
Our group ordered many plates to share, which was a great way to ensure everyone was full. I highly recommend the lomo saltado (rated 5/5 stars), as well as the seafood appetizers like ceviche, jalea, and papa a la huancaina.

Bad Experience with Food and Service
It was my first time here and I had a very bad experience. I ordered tallarines verdes w milanesa and I didn’t like it at all 🥲. Also, my fiancé got a hair in the steak.
Then I asked for the check, and on the menu there was one price, but on the receipt, there was another. When I asked the waitress, she told me it was for taxes, but there were already another $10 of taxes detailed on the receipt, so I don't know what she was referring to 🤷🏽♀️. Also, she had a bad attitude when we asked her.
The only thing I can highlight is that the place was very beautiful!

Authentic Peruvian Food - A Great Find!
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! I'm so glad to have found a Peruvian place that's up to par with my Tia's food. The food was excellent, and I highly recommend it.
The service was top-notch, receiving a perfect 5/5. The atmosphere also earned a 5/5, making for a very pleasant dining environment. We experienced no wait time, and there was plenty of parking available.
It was a great lunch experience.

Fresh, Authentic Flavors and Great Service!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was incredibly fresh and authentic. I particularly enjoyed the ceviche, which was amazing, and the fried yuca was delightful.
We also tried the chicha morada and alfajores; both were pleasantly balanced in sweetness. The service was great, and we will definitely be back.

Fantastic Experience with Delicious Food
We had a fantastic experience at this sweet restaurant last night. We were lucky to sit by the kitchen and could see the dishes emerge one-by-one, looking so delicious. The menu is quite extensive, and it was hard to make a choice from so many options.
We chose the halibut ceviche – outstanding! It had a perfect balance of flavors. The chicken Saltado didn’t disappoint, with juicy morsels of chicken, perfectly cooked rice, and delicately fried cassava.
The Inca purple corn beverage (chicha morada) was also delicious! Looking to return to try more things on the menu.
