Delicious Empanadas and Great Cappuccino
My experience was a delightful quick breakfast. I absolutely loved their cappuccino ❤️. The empanadas were a melt-in-your-mouth experience.
We tried the Carne (beef) and Champinion (mushrooms) varieties. Although there was no seating, we took our food to the pier benches and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Not Worth the Price
My experience at the restaurant was disappointing. I paid $15 for two empanadas, and while the cost wasn't the main issue, the quality simply wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, it was not a good value.

Poor Service and Cold Empanadas
I was interested in using Blackbird to pay for my empanadas here, but the employee kept insisting that they only allow Blackbird for drinks and that it was not redeemable after 11 am. Even after I explained to him three times that I didn’t want a drink and just wanted to pay for the empanadas using Blackbird, he still didn’t understand that simple concept. I don’t understand why a business would partner with companies like Blackbird and not train/explain how to handle transactions properly.
Honestly, the empanadas were cold and stale as well, so I wouldn’t come back.

Disappointing coffee experience
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I paid $5 for a drip coffee, which turned out to be a pre-made coffee from a dispenser. Asking for tips in this situation felt like madness.

Disappointing Empanadas and High Prices
My experience at this restaurant was a disappointment, especially considering the rave reviews I had read. I was very excited to try the shrimp empanada, but it was a letdown. It tasted a bit fishy, and the small pieces of shrimp inside were the worst I've ever had – overcooked, dry, and rubbery.
To make matters worse, at $7 per empanada, they don't offer any free sauces, not even hot sauce, which is unheard of for an empanada place. The chimichurri was available for sale, but the prices were ridiculous; $1. 50 for a tiny 1 oz size felt excessive.
While the beef empanada was decent, it wasn't good enough to warrant a return visit.

Excellent Coffee and Empanadas
My experience at this coffee and empanada shop in China Basin was really nice. The coffee was excellent and very smooth. I also enjoyed the made to order empanadas, which were made with care.
They offer both savory and sweet options, and they are not your typical pastry.

Good for Work, But Seats Aren't Comfy
My experience at this restaurant was primarily as a quiet place to work on my laptop for a bit to catch up on work. The cleanliness was excellent (5/5), and the location was also good (4/5). However, I couldn't stay for more than an hour due to the hard wooden seats.
The interior was rated 3/5 and the value was also 3/5. The food was rated 5/5 and service was 4/5, with a pleasant atmosphere also rated 4/5. It's a good spot for a short work session, but not for extended stays if comfort is a priority.

Incredible Food and Great Service!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The service was great, and the food was incredible. The Maradona dish was our favorite, and we would happily eat every single dish again.
It was also great to see Quilmes on tap!

Great Coffee, Empanadas, and Atmosphere!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's a great space for working or hanging out with friends. Their coffee and alfajores are out of this world – a must-try!
They also offer a lot of vegetarian-friendly empanadas. The barista was very nice and friendly too, contributing to a great overall experience.

Disappointing Empanadas, Great Service
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. While the service and atmosphere were excellent, receiving perfect scores, the food quality was a significant letdown. These are not traditional Argentinian empanadas.
The fugazzeta was fine, and the caprese (Maradona) was good. However, the meat empanada was awful, described as dry with no sauce and too many olives, leading us to throw it away. The humita (corn) empanada also lacked sauce and had a bad-tasting corn filling, suggesting it should have come with bechamel sauce.
The prices are high, and while Argentinian empanadas in the US can be worth $6 each, these were overpriced for the quality offered.
