My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. I loved the great small plates, the genuinely friendly service, and the pleasant atmosphere. They specialize in sherry and also have a good selection of wine. I highly recommend trying the horchata with sherry.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I loved the food and the style. I had a front-row seat to the kitchen, and the crew was super friendly. The perfect sized plates allowed me to try a bit of everything. I definitely recommend ordering the crispy potatoes.

My experience at El Lopo was absolutely delicious! The service was amazing and warm. Mitch was particularly outstanding, guiding us through the menu with expert detail and even providing a list of recommendations for our upcoming trip to Napa Valley. My mom and I left raving about both the food and the staff. I'll be headed straight for El Lopo when I return to SF.

My experience at this restaurant was truly wonderful. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about both food and drinks, and their invitation to Spain to learn more is a testament to their passion. The food and service were both rated a perfect 5, and the atmosphere was also excellent, rated 5. It's a quiet place, making it easy to have conversations. They have a large vegetarian selection and are highly recommended for vegetarians. There was no wait time.

My experience at El Lopo was absolutely incredible! On our first outing in San Francisco, we stumbled upon this gem and took a chance. We ended up having one of the best dining experiences of our lives. We ordered the “take care of us” special along with several sherry flights. Everything was delicious and perfectly portioned. The vibes were immaculate. So much so that when we eloped on June 6, we returned for dinner that evening! Our second experience somehow topped the first. After mentioning we had just eloped, our server brought us a special pitcher. We hold El Lopo so dear to our hearts, and everyone in the area needs to try them!

My experience at this restaurant was so much fun! They specialize in Sherry, but also offer a whole range of Spanish wines, beers, and ciders. The bar is based on an alternate history where Spain/Mexico continued to control California and kept up the cuisine traditions. The food and ambiance were great, and the service was good to boot. I would recommend it wholly!

We visited El Lopo Bar&Restaurant and were pleasantly surprised to find out it was quiz night! 😅 I can recommend the atmosphere there, and the beer was also tasty. The food looked great, especially the meatballs!

My experience at this restaurant was excellent. It's a great informal spot with a good selection of beers, wines, and vermouth. The service was very good; I spent at least 3 nights here during my time in San Francisco, and everyone was very attentive. I hope to return.

My experience at this informal bar/restaurant was fantastic! It has a lot of character and a great vibe. I really enjoyed their small selection of scrumptious tapas and delicious wines. They also had a fun trivia night going on (on a Wednesday night), which added to the fun lively energy. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a fun, memorable spot for drinks and bites or even a full meal!
