Best Early Morning Grab-and-Go
This little breakfast nook might not be for everyone, but it's exactly what I'm looking for. Not the slightest bit of that pretentiousness that other places use to justify their high prices. Very affordable. Very simple. Open early, it's the first place in the neighborhood to be warm, lit and comfortable at 5 a. M. Cafetazo has my vote for best grab-and-go breakfast, beating out Mellis with its spacious indoor seating. If you're in the neighborhood this is your best unfancy option. If you're halfway across town and it's 5: 00 a. M. , make the trip (or settle for Starbucks).

Understaffed and Overlooked
My experience at the restaurant was marked by a significant lack of staff, particularly after 12 PM and in the mornings. This has been an ongoing issue for some time, and it seems the owner is aware but chooses to exploit their workers. Their sole focus appears to be on increasing their profits. Consequently, customers often leave due to the frustration of waiting, as I have experienced myself. I would recommend the cafe around the corner, Muddy Waters, instead.

Delicious Juice and Traveler-Friendly!
I absolutely loved the apple, carrot and ginger juice I ordered! The restaurant accepts credit card payment without a minimum purchase fee, which is perfect for travelers.

Best Cream Cheese and Huge Smoothies
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's one of the cheapest places in SF to grab breakfast, and the cream cheese was some of the best I've ever had. We received our food quickly, and the smoothies were impressively huge.

Great First Visit, Nice People and Yummy Muffin
As I was going to school around the block, I stopped in for my first visit. Everyone was so nice. I had an ice tea and a muffin. It was yummy.

Disappointing Muffin and Cone
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The muffins were not good, and the ice cream cone was super stale and nasty. It felt like $12. 85 was wasted down the drain. I will never go back here again, not for ice cream, a muffin, or even a cup of water. While the ice cream itself was good, the cone it came in was not.

Disrespectful Accusation, Lost Customer
My experience was incredibly disappointing due to being accused for stealing. This is by far the most disrespectful treatment I've ever received. As someone who supports small businesses and would have been a frequent visitor, this accusation is baseless as I gain absolutely nothing by stealing a croissant. I will not be returning, and I hope the establishment does better next time.

Rude Service, Avoid This Place
My experience at this restaurant was overwhelmingly negative due to the extremely rude service. It took a considerable amount of time, about 15 minutes, just to place my order. When I inquired about paying electronically, I was told it wasn't an option. I then explained I didn't have my wallet or cash, and unfortunately, wouldn't be able to purchase anything. The staff member became confrontational, complaining and telling me to bring my wallet next time as she had 'wasted her time' making my order. I had left my wallet in my car, which I didn't have access to at that moment. I found it baffling that there wasn't a sign indicating the tap payment wasn't working, especially since I have retail experience and know the machine lights are off when it's not functional. I assumed it was working. The rudeness was so pronounced that it reminded me why I hadn't returned in years.

Slow Service, No Orders Taken
I wanted to try some coffee with cake, but I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to notice that we, two customers, were waiting. Before me, there was only one customer, and they were working so slowly with her order. I ended up leaving the place. They need a cashier dedicated to taking orders, while others can focus on preparing food. It was frustrating to see two people making food with no one taking orders. Additionally, the place needs more cleaning. So, if you have plenty of time, give them a chance. I was rushing, so I didn't try their food.

Great coffee and bagel, worth exploring
I was looking for a cafe with wifi in Mission and ended up trying El Cafetazo for a drink and small bite. I was amazed by the coffee and bagel. The cafe is not posh but has an adequate menu, wifi and good people. I ordered a mocha and jalapeno bagel. I was happy with both. The mocha was nicely made and I ordered the same one to go after spending 2 hours there. It's worth exploring and trying.
