Good Atmosphere and Service, Average Food
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. While the atmosphere was really good and the servers were very attentive, the food was just okay. It wasn't bad, but there was nothing to be excited about either.
This might be because I ordered a very standard dish from the menu.

Disappointing Food at a Favorite Spot
This used to be one of my favorite spots in the city. After visiting again after 3-4 years, I found the atmosphere and vibe of the place to be spot on, and the service was excellent. However, I was generally disappointed with the food.
The grills were really, really dry. I did enjoy the mezze platter. We visited close to closing hours, so we felt a bit rushed out.
The rose on the menu was quite nice. The price point is a little too high for the quality of the meal. Hopefully, it’ll be a better experience next time.

Excellent Family Dinner Experience
We visited for a family dinner and found the experience to be very positive. Reservations are recommended. We ordered the meze platter, Brussels sprouts, a salad, and lamb souvlaki, accompanied by a bottle of red wine.
The food was very tasty, and the service was excellent. We highly recommend this place.

Lovely Neighborhood Bistro with Excellent Food
My experience at this lovely neighborhood bistro was truly wonderful. The service was friendly, and the food was excellent. We even celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary here, which made the occasion even more special.

Confusing Mediterranean Food Experience
My experience at this restaurant was quite confusing. I wouldn't classify it as a Mediterranean restaurant or even a wine bar. The borek arrived looking like a spring roll, which was unexpected, especially at over $10 for three.
The moussaka was also not what I would typically consider moussaka. Overall, it was a weird restaurant, and I would not return.

Amazing Salmon, Loud Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant offered good options, with the salmon being absolutely amazing. The burger was just okay. Overall, the food was good, and the atmosphere was rated highly.
However, it's not our go-to dine-in spot due to the loud noise and cramped tables.

Delicious Food & Great Atmosphere
This is a perfect place for a date night. While it's usually packed, we love sitting at the bar. The food is delicious; we typically order the mezze platter and octopus.
We've also tried the kunefe, which is small but really yummy. The atmosphere here is wonderful, with bartenders and waiters who are super nice and give us space, which is a refreshing change from many American restaurants. The decoration is beautiful too.
All in all, I definitely recommend Dunya.

Comfortable Vibe, Great Service, Limited Beer
My experience at this restaurant was quite pleasant. The vibe was very comfortable, and the service was great. I appreciated the extensive wine selection, although I noted there were no beer options.
It's a great spot for a slightly more formal experience compared to other Mediterranean spots in town. For dessert, Bob’s Donuts a few doors down is a fantastic addition!

Reservation ignored, seated at bar
We made a reservation and when we arrived, they said they couldn’t seat us. Despite an open table, the host refused to accommodate us and stated we could only be seated at the bar. WTH?
