Favorite Restaurant with Amazing Food!
This is my favorite restaurant in the bay! The food is amazing and the quality far surpasses the cost. The couple that runs the restaurant are very sweet and creative.
I would take everyone here if I could.

High-quality Omakase, Welcoming Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I loved the super high quality food, which was served without the pretentiousness often associated with omakase. The owners were so welcoming and thoughtful in their approach.
Overall, it was a 10/10 experience.

Exceptional Birthday Sushi Experience
We recently visited Doma to celebrate my fiancé's birthday and our recent engagement. The food was both fresh and fun, and we both agreed that we had never experienced sushi quite this good. It was a truly great dining experience, and we are eager to return.
We highly recommend Doma!

Exceptional Sushi, Top-Tier Experience
My experience at this restaurant was an incredible sushi experience. The fish was exceptionally fresh, tasting like it was flown straight from Japan. The fixed piece menu was a highlight, featuring delicacies like uni, scallops, caviar, and sublime o-toro.
Each piece was a masterful combination of flavors, and the portions were surprisingly abundant and filling. The wonderful atmosphere makes this a top-tier spot. Highly recommended!

Pricey Meal, Poor Service Experience
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. Despite the pricey meal, we were treated with scorn and disrespect for not ordering sake and for not purchasing their bottled water. The restaurant lacks alternatives for those who don't eat certain items like salmon roe or unagi.
The chef displayed rudeness and gave an 'evil eye' when we didn't eat everything served. Once annoyed, he stopped explaining the dishes, only doing so for other patrons. We had to repeatedly ask what was being served, and he responded with an attitude, seeming inconvenienced.
The food was okay; the highlight was a Japanese cracker with tuna tartare, which we later replicated at home with similar deliciousness. It's questionable why one would pay $300 for a meal for two and feel like an uninvited guest. We found a better alternative in Berkeley at Tokyo Market, offering sushi of the same quality.

Exceptional Omakase Experience
I had a quasi-private dining experience with an exquisite omakase curated with top shelf fresh seafood, run by a single chef and a single waitress/hostess. The impressive culinary arts were showcased in a whimsical and small dining room. The Wagyu beef topped with caviar and gold flakes nigiri was a definite highlight.
Improvements could include offering more familiar Japanese beers and sake, along with allowing customers to choose their tip percentage based on the quality of service (I’m not a fan of a flat 20% no matter what for a service fee). All in all, it was a great dining experience and worth revisiting!

Unforgettable One-of-a-Kind Sushi Experience
My experience at this restaurant was truly unreal. The owner/chef, Steven, creates one-of-a-kind sushi/sashimi courses that are exacting and melt in your mouth with a broad flavor spectrum. It was a truly one-of-a-kind experience that won’t be forgotten.

Best Sushi in San Francisco
My experience at this restaurant was hands down the best sushi I've had in San Francisco. It's an intimate, tiny place with wonderful fish and great sake/wine. The food was a perfect 5/5, and the atmosphere was also a perfect 5/5.
The service was excellent, rated 5/5, contributing to a fantastic overall dining experience.
