Great Dim Sum Value on Beacon Hill
My experience at this restaurant was positive, particularly for its dim sum offerings on Beacon Hill. The dim sum is great and offered at a very reasonable price. While not as exceptional as some more expensive establishments in Chinatown or Bellevue, it's definitely on par with most good dim sum restaurants in the Seattle metro area.
Considering the price, it's absolutely worth it.

Authentic Dim Sum Experience
My experience at this restaurant was very traditional Chinese dim sum. My daughter and wife really enjoyed every dish we tried. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was also highly rated.
We had a quiet and enjoyable meal.

Properly Executed, Lacking Flavor
My experience at the restaurant was just OK. While the food looked appealing and was prepared properly, it lacked seasoning. The steamed pork buns were cooked perfectly, but the filling was a bit bland, and the sauce lacked contrast, making the pork fall flat.
Similarly, their pot stickers were perfectly cooked with an ideal wrapper density and chew, but the filling was missing key garlic and ginger flavors. The other two items we ordered were consistent with these selections – properly executed but missing defining flavors. I was hopeful, as it resembled the kind of great local joints that prioritize great food over presentation.

Wonderful food, great value!
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful. The food was amazing, the cost was low, and the portions were generous. I'd recommend bringing a friend, but be mindful of the small dining area if you plan to bring a larger group.

Terrible Service, Never Again
My first time here was a very bad experience. After waiting half an hour for a table, we finally got to order, only to wait again. It was unclear how they managed orders or what kind of service they offered, as they served several couples who arrived after us, and they were nearly finished with their lunch while we were still waiting.
We decided to leave because I was sick of the thought of tipping for such poor service. This was my first and last visit; I will never come back. Thanks God!

Delicious Chinese Food and Dim Sum!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's a great no-frills Chinese food and Dim Sum spot. Every meal comes with complimentary hot tea, which was delicious.
I ordered several items from the menu, and all of them were delicious and cooked perfectly. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Disappointing Service, Okay Food
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing, primarily due to the service. The female staff completely ignored us when we wanted to place an order. Her behavior was quite rude, and it was obvious she was aware of it.
The food was okay, but the overall experience was marred by the poor service.

Hidden Gem for Authentic Dim Sum
Chinese cuisine in Seattle can be quite unpredictable. Beyond the International District, good options are scarce. Dim Sum House is that rare "diamond in the rough, " a place worth discovering, even with its humble entrance.
The dining area is small, with about 8 tables, and take-out is very popular. As the name suggests, they offer an extensive Dim Sum selection alongside a broad menu of classic dishes. The Salt and Pepper Squid and "Kong" Pao Chicken were among the best I've ever had – fresh, bursting with flavor, and served in generous portions.
Dishes arrived in an order determined by the kitchen, not necessarily the traditional sequence. The service model seemed to focus on one table at a time, from order to delivery. I highly recommend using your favorite map app to find this spot and prepare for a culinary delight.

Disappointing Dim Sum Experience
My husband and I visited this restaurant on a weekend, drawn in by generally good reviews, though I wish I'd paid more attention to the 1-star ones 😔. We were seated quickly at an available table, which was initially dirty but promptly cleaned. However, it took an agonizing 25-30 minutes before our order was taken.
During this time, I repeatedly tried to flag down a waitress, but she ignored me, serving tables next to and behind us. Even when I politely stated, "We're ready to order, " she seemed to overlook us. The food, when it finally arrived, was decent.
Service was slow, and not wanting to wait another 20 minutes to order more, we opted to order four plates of dim sum, paid, and left. For a proper Dim Sum experience, look for a place with waiters pushing carts or trays of food. This establishment lacks that.
I won't be returning; you're better off heading to Downtown Seattle.

Authentic Dim Sum & Great Value
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found it to be a fantastic dim sum spot. The shrimp dumplings and siu mai were incredibly fresh and flavorful.
The salt & pepper lobster was a definite must-try, described as crispy, meaty, and delicious. I was also impressed by the zongzi, which were huge (bigger than my hand!) and packed with authentic Chinese flavors, featuring tender meat, sausage, peanuts, chestnut, and salted egg yolk. The restaurant offers very reasonably priced meals with generous portions and a wide variety, from dim sum to bakery treats.
A major plus is the plenty of parking space, with two hours of free parking, making it much easier than dealing with the hassle of Chinatown. The service was friendly, the taste authentic, and the value great. I highly recommend this place!
