I’m obsessed with Detroit Square Pizza! Every bite of their square pizza is packed with flavor – the cheese is melty, the crust is perfectly crispy, and the toppings taste super fresh. I tried both the Proper Pepperoni Pie and a veggie slice with spicy honey, and honestly, they were both amazing. The vibe is casual and welcoming. This is hands down my new go-to spot for Detroit-style pizza in San Francisco!

My experience at this restaurant was truly amazing! I ordered the veggie slice and added Marinara sauce on top, which was so tasty and flavourful. This place is a hidden gem! I can’t wait to try the other 4 different kinds of slices they offer, which shows how dedicated they are. 😍 The food received a perfect score of 5, and the service and atmosphere were also rated a 5. The price per person is between $10–20, and it's highly recommended for vegetarians. We visited for dinner as a group of 2 people.

My experience at the restaurant was centered around their Cheese Pizza. The food was rated a 5 out of 5, and I found the pizza to be just the right amount, leaving me full but not uncomfortably so. The service and atmosphere also received perfect scores of 5. However, the portion size for the cheese was quite small, with two squares costing $7. 81. Each square was approximately 5x3x1. 5 with a crunchy crust.

Stopped in while visiting friends and was impressed. The prices were excellent, and the pizza was great. It was a very solid experience, and I hope to come back.

While the prices may have increased, as indicated by a potential menu update from $1 to $2, I felt the cost of the chili honey was a reach. For the minuscule amount of chili honey provided in the teeniest container, charging $4 seemed excessive.

As someone from Detroit, I found the pizza at this place to have too many “salad” ingredients. I would describe it as a square California pizza, rather than a true Detroit pizza. For authentic Detroit pizza, I recommend Buddy’s pizza, followed by Belle Isle pizza. For a chain option, Jets Pizza is a good choice. California pizza shops aiming to make authentic Detroit-style pizza should visit Detroit or at least study the websites and menus of these local establishments.

My experience was SO GOOD. I stumbled upon this small business, which operates as a to-go window where you order on a tablet. They serve HUGE slices that can feed two people for a quick bite, or one if you're really hungry. The food was delicious, and the owner was friendly.
