Excellent Food, Superb Service, Loud Atmosphere
We dined at DeLille a few days ago and found most of the food to be excellent. The fries that come with the steak frites were extraordinary, some of the best we've had. The dessert, a clafouti, was out of this world; our server mentioned it was the chef's first time trying it, and it's definitely a keeper!
However, the quail dish was not as successful, with an ineffective pairing of ingredients. Overall, the meal was excellent and the service superb. A point of feedback is that the restaurant is much too loud when it is close to full; some rugs would help a lot.

Impressive Food, Top-Notch Cocktails
We’ve loved The Restaurant at the DeLille Tasting Room in Woodinville for years. DeLille en Ville in u village has even more impressive food, if that is even possible. We had the Black Cod and Mafaldine pasta with lamb shank.
Both were really so well done. The fish held its bite well and the sear on the skin was so tasty. The pasta was cooked to perfection, tasted fresh and homemade and flavor was so good.
And while known for the wine, their cocktails are too notch! It was a little loud in the restaurant - maybe echoy - Cheers!

Phenomenal Experience in UVillage!
Finally, a restaurant worth visiting in UVillage! I made reservations for a business dinner on a weekday night and was surprised by how busy it was. The hostess seated us in the solarium with the most comfortable seats.
The overall experience was phenomenal, starting with our server, the food, and the interior design. We ordered the Duck Liver Pate, Red Wine Poached Pear Salad, Steak Frites, and Pasta. All were incredibly amazing, and the portions were much larger than we anticipated.
The Steak Frites were ordered medium rare; the meat was tender, juicy, and savory. The fries were generously loaded on the plate and shareable with two other people. Our server did a fantastic job taking care of us, considering the volume of people in the establishment.

Phenomenal Service, Delicious Seattle Cuisine
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, starting with phenomenal service. The staff were very accommodating when our family dinner unexpectedly grew with new guests. The menu offered a great mix of Seattle cuisine classics, featuring dishes with kales and cabbages alongside salmon, and the use of duck and other seafood was spot on.
For those preferring simpler options, dishes like steak frites were executed to perfection. The bread was also great, and I'm always a sucker for mushrooms and arugula. Personally, I enjoyed the duck and found the puffed wild rice to be a fantastic textural addition that I'll be incorporating into my home cooking.
The only suggestion for improvement is the serving of the pate; a whipped version would be easier to spread than the glass jar provided.

Mixed Experience: Great Service, Mediocre Food
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. I visited for lunch and opted for the 3-course “restaurant week” option for $35. The butternut squash soup was nicely spiced but served tepid.
The duck confit pasta was well-cooked with tender and juicy duck, but the dish lacked acid or heat to balance its high fat content, resulting in a one-note flavor and texture profile. The dessert was the weakest part of the meal; the panna cotta was gummy and rubbery, not creamy, possibly due to too much gelatin. The accompanying cookie was also disappointing.
On the positive side, the wine selection was decent, with the DeLille, Forget-Me-Not Blanc de Blancs, nv surprisingly being my favorite. While I didn't love the reds tried this time, I've enjoyed other DeLille wines previously. The service, particularly from my server Angel, was great and knowledgeable.
Thank you, Angel.

Disappointing French Dining Experience
I visited this restaurant with my spouse and a friend. While the setup was cute, the seating and general layout made it impossible to hear conversations at our table. I had expected a fine dining experience, but this place felt more like the Olive Garden of French restaurants.
The dishes lacked flavor and had horrible pairings with the meat. My duck was bone dry and flavorless. The dessert, an olive cake, seemed stale, possibly a few days old.
The Old Fashioned cocktail felt watered down. The servers were least interested in checking if we had any concerns. It was a very disappointing experience overall.

Disappointing Brunch Experience
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The service was very slow, with our brunch lasting a lengthy 2. 5 hours.
To make matters worse, they even ran out of coffee cups. The quiche was cold and had to be sent back twice. While the server did comp our mimosas, the overall experience led us to decide this was our last visit.

Mixed Feelings on Wine and Burger
I usually have lunch at Piatti and enjoy their pasta and Januik Sauv Blanc. I consider Januik S. B.
The best white wine from Washington, and Washington red wines are comparable to those from Napa. I decided to try DeLille wine, hoping to find another good regional option. There were two Sauv Blancs on the menu: one for $22 and another for $16.
After checking online reviews, I chose the $16 option, named Chalcur Blanc. While the wine had a beautiful color, it tasted like Chardonnay, not Sauv Blanc. I even asked if I had mistakenly ordered Chardonnay.
The server confirmed it tasted like Chardonnay but was indeed S. B. , showing me the label.
I found this confusing; if it smells and tastes like a smoky Chardonnay, it should be labeled as such. The server did pour a generous amount, and the more I drank, the more it smelled like Chardonnay, which was amusing. It would be helpful to label the wine correctly to avoid customer confusion.
I also ordered a burger from the brunch menu, which was not warm and was charred too much. However, I did enjoy the fries; the portion was ample, enough for three people. Overall, Piatti is a nice, new, shiny place for a casual outing with friends, especially for red wine, I think.
