Awful Food, Never Again
My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The food was awful, completely bland and lacking any flavor whatsoever. It tasted like hospital food for old people.
Everything was soggy and gross. I will never be eating here again.

Disappointing California Burrito
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing, primarily due to the high price for what I received. I ordered the Super Cali Burrito, which cost almost $17. I found the burrito to be average in taste, and the portion size was smaller than expected, contrary to how it looked in the first picture.
There were also hardly any fries included. The burrito seemed more like a carne asada burrito than a traditional California burrito. It was supposed to come with sour cream, but I requested it without.

Satisfying Burritos and Fries
Someone told my son he had to go here, so we did. He was satisfied with his Buffalo fries and massive burrito. Our burritos, enchiladas, and chips were also good.

Authentic Mexican Food, Fast and Friendly!
My experience at Cotixan was fantastic! It's my go-to spot for authentic Mexican food. The portions are generous, and the ingredients taste incredibly fresh, making everything packed with flavor.
I particularly enjoyed the carne asada burrito, which was absolutely loaded and satisfying. Their guacamole and salsa are also on point – bold, fresh, and full of taste. The service is consistently quick and friendly, even during busy times.
The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, making it a clean and perfect place for a quick bite or a laid-back meal. If you're looking for something tasty, filling, and affordable in the area, this is definitely the place to go. I highly recommend it!

Disappointing Experience: Lacks Passion and Freshness
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. There’s no passion here, and the food does not taste fresh. I found the salsa to be watery.
The service was poor, and the overall experience was overpriced.

Yellow Tortillas: A Northern California Surprise
I'm visiting San Diego and looking for Mexican food. I've noticed they use a lot of yellow tortillas. Yes, YELLOW.
Because there are various colors of tortillas. I don't know if they are cheaper, but in Northern California, yellow tortillas are for chips. Anyway, the rating is for the restaurant itself.
With hunger, it's passable.

Disappointing Buffalo Fries Experience
I’m a bit disappointed in the Buffalo fries. It was over drenched with sauce, and I expected it to have boneless wings and guacamole, similar to Vallarta Express, but it didn't. It was essentially just fries with grilled chicken, cheese, and buffalo sauce.
I couldn’t finish it. The orange sauce also seemed different from the other Cotixan I visited.

Great Burritos, Avoid Carnitas
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, especially with their cali burritos, nachos, fries, and quesadillas. The jamaica drink was also deliciously tangy and a great accompaniment. However, I've learned to avoid the carnitas here, as they don't seem to be sold often and often have an "off" flavor.

Consistently Great Food and Service!
I've been coming to this restaurant since it opened, and it never fails to satisfy me. Tonight, the auntie and uncle cooking did a fantastic job. I really appreciate their enthusiasm and helpfulness towards customers.
I'm definitely coming back next Sunday to enjoy more and to bring some Carne Asada burritos back home to Hawaii.

Cold, Tasteless Tacos and Wrong Order
My experience was extremely disappointing. The tacos were completely wet and had no taste, and they were served cold. The beans and rice were also cold.
The restaurant also failed to follow a specific request regarding ingredients, as I told them no lettuce, but they included it in my tacos. Additionally, the bean and cheese burrito was missing rice. If you're looking for cold food and incorrect orders, this is your place.
I will never order from here again.
