Sausage Pizza Disappointment, Service Okay
My experience at this restaurant was largely defined by the sausage pizza, which I found to be a disappointing three out of 10. It wasn't even worth keeping the leftovers. While the service was timely, it lacked any personal touch, feeling rather impersonal.

Bar is the Way to Go
We wanted to really love this place. The atmosphere is wonderful, a bit retro and somewhat updated. It is, however, in a largely tourist area, which comes with its own set of characteristics. The interior is funky and elegant. It's important to know that the bar is where the deals are; happy hour is ONLY at the bar, so don't expect happy hour prices at the tables. I'd suggest skipping the tables and heading to the bar. The food is good, if a bit overpriced. However, the menu is extremely limited, and they offer no substitutions or additions – you can only get what's on the menu. It's a bit like the diner scene from "Five Easy Pieces. " My suggestion would be, unless you don't drink, skip the tables, go to the bar, and order what appeals to you. You'll enjoy it better knowing your options and limitations up front.

Beautiful Interior, Disappointing Food
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The location was great and the interior was beautiful, creating a lovely atmosphere. However, the food was a significant letdown. It seemed like the food was microwaved, which was quite disappointing given the overall ambiance. While the atmosphere was a strong point, the food quality did not match up.

Vegetarian Options Lacking, Staff Overwhelmed
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing, particularly regarding the menu selection for vegetarians. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and there weren't many options available for those with dietary restrictions. Specifically, there were no gluten-free options for main dishes. While the wait time was non-existent, finding parking was difficult, and the available parking was a paid parking garage. The noise level was loud, though conversation was still possible. For dinner, the price per person ranged from $50–100. I would not recommend this restaurant for vegetarians.

Disappointing Service Despite Decent Food
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. While the food was generally good, with a rating of 4, the wine offer was poor. The service was notably slow and basic, even when the restaurant was only a third full. There was a lack of basic amenities like bread, which contributed to a feeling of subpar service. The atmosphere, however, was pleasant, rated at 4, and the noise level was quiet, making conversation easy.

Disappointing Portions and Spicy Food
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I waited 10 minutes for a host to be seated. While waiting, I observed that dishes were served in massive bowls with massive portions, which contrasted sharply with the to-go order I received. For $30, I received less than a kids meal, which I found laughable, even in San Francisco's current economy. The dish was also incredibly spicy with red pepper, which was supposed to be a dash but became the dominant flavor. Additionally, I received two closed clams, which should not have been served.

Nice Upscale Italian Group Experience
I visited this upscale Italian place on a Thursday night with a large group and we opted for a fixed menu. The staff were very nice and attentive, and the food came out super fast. I particularly enjoyed the appetizer of meatballs and garlic bread, and the marinara pizza was also very good. The portion sizes were good. The interior is very modern and beautiful, making it a good hangout place. On the downside, one of the pizzas was a bit off, and the pesto pasta had too much pesto, making it difficult to eat much of it. Overall, it was a nice group experience.

Disappointing Service, Good Food
My experience at Corzetti was marred by the worst service I've encountered in a long time. The evening was a continuous stream of forgotten orders, incorrect food and drinks, and an exorbitant wait for beverages. There was a complete lack of attention from the waiter and manager, especially as these issues persisted. While I understand that busy periods can lead to occasional mishaps, the staff's failure to even attempt to rectify the numerous problems made the evening incredibly disappointing. The food itself is good, but I feel I can find the same quality of Italian fare elsewhere with significantly better service.

Expensive Italian with Service Hiccups
My experience at this American Italian restaurant was decent, though the menu wasn't extensive, and meat dishes incurred an extra charge. The authentic meatballs and Cioppino were highlights, but the kitchen seemed limited in its offerings. Service was disorganized; servers couldn't decide who was attending to us, leading to duplicated orders. We endured a long wait for a Hugo Spritz that wasn't authentic. The Affogato was also disappointing, served as separate espresso and ice cream without liqueur. While the atmosphere was nice, the restaurant felt like it was punching above its weight. This was the most expensive meal of our trip, but unfortunately, not the best.

Delicious Food, Vegetarian Focus
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, with delicious food that wasn't overly expensive. However, if you're a dedicated meat lover, you might find the menu disappointing as many dishes are vegetarian by default, requiring extra payment for meat add-ons. Despite this, the flavors were great. The wine was just okay. The atmosphere was rated a 5, though the noise level was loud, it was still possible to converse. The food itself received a score of 4.
