Extremely Disappointing Meal, Not Worth the Price
My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I visited tonight expecting the quality of Heavenly Sent Chicken, but it seems the business has changed hands or direction. Unfortunately, the meal was a massive disappointment.
I ordered a 4-piece spicy meal with several sides, totaling over $50. The quality was unacceptable for any price point, let alone a premium one. The chicken and fries were inedible due to what tasted like old, burnt frying oil.
The mac n cheese had a dry, powdery texture similar to sawdust, and the mashed potatoes were clearly instant/dehydrated with an unappetizing texture. I ended up having to order dinner from another establishment because this meal was inedible. I am requesting a full refund for this order.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary adjustments to their quality control and ingredients.

Disappointing Experience with Bland Food
I decided to give this new restaurant a chance, hoping that early reviews might not be fully representative. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The chicken was largely inedible, tasting "wrong, " with only one tender being halfway decent but still unseasoned and bland.
The waffle fries were also problematic; they seemed hollow and stale, not quite burnt but definitely not good. I contacted the restaurant to share this feedback, as I believe new businesses benefit from such insights. However, the call was unusual.
The staff member became defensive, insisting the food was made fresh and seemed to doubt my feedback. While I understand it might have been fresh, the taste suggested an issue with the chicken or possibly the fryer. They offered to replace the order, but I wasn't willing to make a 30-minute trip for another potentially disappointing meal, especially since even the "edible" item wasn't good.
They stated refunds weren't possible over the phone and required an in-person return with a receipt, which I found inconvenient. Ultimately, I'm chalking this up to an expensive disappointment, with my primary goal being to provide feedback to help them improve. I would definitely recommend considering other options.

Cluck and Crunch: Okay Chicken, Great Fries, High Prices
I visited this location expecting to find Heaven Sent Chicken, but it has since been rebranded as Cluck and Crunch. The chicken itself was just okay. However, the waffle fries were good!
The prices are quite high, which seems to be the norm everywhere these days. For $20, you get 3 pieces of chicken, fries, one soft white roll, one dipping sauce, and a fountain soda.

Great Service, Disappointing Food
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The service was great and friendly, which was a definite plus. However, the food, specifically the tenders, was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price.
I've had better frozen chicken tenders from the grocery store.

Mostly Great, One Undercooked Item
I've eaten here 4 times, and 3 of those experiences were excellent. However, on my last visit, the crust on the chicken was undercooked. I suspect they might have just had an off day.
I plan to try a piece before I leave next time to ensure it's cooked through.

Best Fried Chicken Around!
My experience at the restaurant was largely positive, especially concerning the food. I found the smoothie to be good and the chicken to be great. The waffle fries were pretty good, though not my favorite kind of fries.
I did wish there was a better cheese dip, as the cheese powder was weird. Overall, it's the best fried chicken around.

Surprised by Ezell's Location Change
I'm surprised that this used to be Ezell's location and it has changed. Unfortunately, there was no sweet potato pie available, and I can't recall if there was any potato salad either.

Disappointing Chicken, Overpriced Meal
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I ordered the 8-piece meal, opting for half regular and half spicy. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry and lacked any discernible taste or seasoning.
The roll was warm and soft, but that couldn't salvage the meal. I ended up not finishing it and had to throw it away. Considering the pricey nature of the establishment, I don't believe I will be returning.

Disappointing Chicken, High Prices
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag, leaning towards disappointing. I stopped here for chicken as an emergency, wanting to try it out. The chicken itself had crunchy skin and was juicy inside, but the breading was barely there.
The roll looked similar to another chicken joint I've visited, but it was completely tasteless. The prices are astronomical; I paid $13. 19 after tax for just two pieces of chicken and a tasteless butter roll, which is more than KFC charges.
😳 While I might consider trying it again, it would be my last choice for chicken.

Worth the Price, Blows KFC Away!
I decided to try this place out on a whim because I live close by, and I did not regret it. The food here blows KFC out of the water! Even though it's a bit pricier, it's definitely worth it.
