My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, thanks to the incredibly friendly staff and an excellent atmosphere that was warm, welcoming, and lively. However, the food could use some improvement. Specifically, the butter lettuce salad had too many shallots and lacked sufficient seasoning for balance. While both main dishes were enjoyable, they didn't quite stand out. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and with a few small tweaks to the menu, it could be truly great.

I've visited this restaurant multiple times, bringing both family and friends, and have consistently enjoyed my experiences. The food is always good, and the service is warm and friendly, even when the staff is busy and feeling rushed. It's a great neighborhood restaurant.

My experience at this restaurant was one of the worst I've ever had. I strongly advise against spending your hard-earned money here. The service was terrible, and the atmosphere was equally disappointing. The food also received a very low rating. With a wait time of over an hour and a high price per person, the overall experience was extremely negative.

My family and I had a great time at this restaurant. The service was on point, and the food is delicious. I particularly enjoyed the salmon, and also tried some fries from my tablemates. I highly recommend this place!

My experience with online orders from this restaurant has been awful. Nobody paid attention to what has been ordered. I ordered a lettuce salad with goat cheese and avocado, but received it with onion (which I am allergic to) and bread and butter, but no butter. When I visited the restaurant in person, everything was good, but take-out through the platform never arrived as ordered.

After a full day of walking around San Francisco, my wife and I found ourselves in the Pacific Heights neighborhood and decided to stop at Chouquet. From the moment we arrived, we could tell this place was special. The Owner himself was hosting, running around, and making sure every guest was taken care of. His candor, jokes, and genuine hospitality stood out immediately. He took the time to share stories, complimented us, and made us feel like regulars on our very first visit. That personal touch, combined with excellent food, made the entire experience memorable. I’m the kind of diner who values great meals paired with authentic people, and Chouquet delivers exactly that. With 20 years in this location, it’s clear you don’t last that long without being truly good. Thank you to the Owner and the entire team for creating such a welcoming, neighborhood driven dining experience.

My experience at Chouquet's has been absolutely wonderful; it truly feels like my dining room away from home. The atmosphere, food, and the family feel are exceptional, transporting me to France without the jet lag. I frequently bring friends for both lunch and dinner, and they are so impressed that they often return with their own friends. When my family visits from out of town, Chouquet's is always their top choice.

I absolutely adore Chouquet! My experience was fantastic. The food is consistently delicious and served in a timely manner. The service is stellar, and the prices are fair. They also offer ample space to enjoy on a sunny afternoon. And last but certainly not least, the desserts are to die for!
