Disappointing Value and Food Quality
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing, particularly regarding the value for money. While the wonton had the right taste, the portion size was very small. The spring rolls were also a letdown. Given the number of other restaurants in the area, I believe you can find better options. The staff were not unpleasant, but overall, the experience didn't meet expectations.

Aggressive Tipping Demands Ruined Experience
My experience at this restaurant was unfortunately marred by a very aggressive interaction with the staff regarding tips. Although I had already tipped when paying at the terminal, the staff member claimed to have missed it and aggressively questioned me for additional tips, making me feel like a criminal. She even printed the receipt to show I hadn't tipped, despite the fact that I had. It made me question whether tips should even be a matter of demand rather than being given at will.

Best Spicy Wonton Soup Ever!
My experience at this restaurant was incredible. I had the best spicy wonton soup I've ever tasted and I'm already dreaming about returning. The food was rated a perfect 5, and the service and atmosphere also received top marks of 5. It was a delightful dinner for two, with no wait time and a price range of $10–20 per person.

Excellent Chongqing Beef Noodle Soup!
My experience at the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I had a simple meal with friendly service. I tried Chongqing food for the first time, and the beef noodle soup was excellent! It's a must-try!

Spicy Beef Noodle Soup Disappointment
While strolling through the streets of SF, we wanted to try some Chinese cuisine. The place caught our eye with its huge bowls, which could easily feed 2 people. Unfortunately, the dish I ordered didn't resemble the popular 'Ramen' at all. It was a soup with a massive amount of noodles, very few vegetables, and beef on the bone (which was the dominant flavor). If you enjoy the taste of bone marrow, you'll be satisfied. Personally, I advise against this item, the 'SPICY BEEF NOODLE SOUP'. The soup was bland, mostly tasting of oil and chili. The meat was tough and difficult to chew. However, the restaurant has many other soups that I would gladly try next time! :)

Forced Tip and Blocked Exit
My experience at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. I paid with Apple Pay and had planned to leave a cash tip. However, after seeing the small receipt, the server whispered to another staff member about me not leaving a tip. They then forced me to add a tip. This unprofessional attitude annoyed me, and I was considering skipping the tip altogether, but the server literally blocked my chair, making it seem like I couldn't leave without paying extra. This was completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. I will never be coming back.

Good Noodles, Frozen Chicken
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. The noodles were great and came in a very big portion. However, they were not very spicy. The chicken, on the other hand, seemed like it was frozen and lacked the original flavor. The service and atmosphere were rated as average (3 out of 5).

Awful Service, Rude Waitress
My experience at this restaurant was awful. The service was far from exceptional, and the waitress was extremely rude when it came time to pay. She pressured me to leave a tip, and when I politely refused, she insisted. After I paid without leaving a tip, she threw my credit card on the table and walked away in anger. Such behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. It clearly shows that money comes before the customer. The food received a rating of 2, while the service and atmosphere were rated 1. Overall, I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant—unless you want to be greeted with a fake smile upon arrival, only to have your card thrown back at you with a nasty look if you don’t leave a tip.

Dan Dan Noodles: Good Broth, Room for Improvement
My experience with the Dan Dan noodles was a mixed bag. The soup broth was great – spicy with the right amount of sesame. However, I'm used to having Dan Dan noodles with preserved mustard greens (sui yi ma cai), and this dish either didn't have any or could have used more. The pork was on the bland side and could have been seasoned more thoroughly. Additionally, the noodles, while plentiful, didn't do a great job of soaking up the flavor of the broth, and some were even clumped together. Overall, the broth was a highlight, but the other components of the dish left something to be desired.
