Delicious Food with a Bay View
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! Everything was on point. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The location right by the water couldn’t be better, offering a beautiful Bay view. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality and setting. It’s the perfect place to enjoy great food. One small note: I noticed plastic straws are still being used, which feels a bit surprising given how close the restaurant is to the water. Maybe they’re biodegradable? It would be great to see an eco-friendly option in the future.

Great Atmosphere, Mostly Good Food
My experience at this restaurant was overall positive, with a great atmosphere and quality food. However, I would advise skipping the chicken thighs, as they were rather dry, a point also noted by others. All other food items were really nice.

Authentic Cuban Sandwich Approved!
As a Cuban, I can confidently approve of the Cuban sandwich. It had the perfect amount of mustard and pickles, and the bread was not too narrow, allowing for a generous portion of pork and ham. This is a true tell of a good Cuban sandwich.

Pulled Pork Sandwich Was Soft
My experience at the restaurant involved trying the Luchon, a pulled pork sandwich served on a roll. Overall, the sandwich was just OK. The meat was soft, and the roll was also soft. It came with sweet potato fries, which were also soft. While this might be great for those who have difficulty chewing, I would have preferred a different texture to break up the sandwich, perhaps something like coleslaw. This lack of texture made the sandwich feel rather mushy. Despite this, other than the texture issue, the sandwich was good. However, I wouldn't order it again.

Sandwich Shop Not Serving Sandwiches?
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to a fundamental issue with their offerings. We arrived at 6: 30 PM, an hour and a half before their stated closing time of 8 PM, intending to order sandwiches, as they claim to be a sandwich shop. To our surprise, when we went to order, we were informed they were no longer serving sandwiches. However, they offered tacos instead. I am writing this review based purely on principle, before even tasting the tacos. A self-proclaimed sandwich shop should, at the very least, serve sandwiches.

Delicious Tacos with a Tourist-Friendly Vibe
I had a lovely experience at Cholita Linda, a great spot for a quick and tasty bite. Despite being in a touristy area like the Ferry Building, they offer shockingly ample seating and affordable pricing. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, needing nourishment and opting out of the long Farmer's Market lines. Although the line was long and the space crowded, we moved through it quickly and received our food about 10 minutes after sitting down – not bad at all and 110% worth the wait. We shared three fish tacos, which were absolutely delightful. The fish was super tender and flaky, contrasting beautifully with the crispy, perfectly fried outer shell. It was a surprisingly veggie-forward taco, with a generous helping of cabbage and herbs. Everything was wrapped in a double corn tortilla and topped with the most delightfully flavorful crema, which was even better with their hot sauce. While the double tortilla slightly muddled the other flavors, I understood its necessity for holding the hefty and stuffed taco together. Overall, a fantastic meal.

Delicious Lunch with Great Views
We are so glad we chose this place for lunch. I ordered the Lechon and absolutely loved the flavors! The combination of ingredients in the sandwich was excellent, especially with the sweet potato fries. The bread, a nice and crunchy French roll, was also really good and complemented the sandwich perfectly. My husband, who usually isn't a fan of fish tacos, loved the two Baja fish tacos he ordered. He noted the fish was fresh, the tortillas were good, and the delicious toppings really made the tacos stand out. We also ordered chips and guacamole, which was pretty good. The churros were delicious, perfectly crunchy and warm. Lastly, I tried the strawberry agua fresca; while it was thicker than I'm accustomed to, I still enjoyed it and would order it again. We had the pleasure of sitting outside and enjoyed the great people-watching views. Overall, we loved our lunch experience here and plan to visit again.

Disappointing Pickup Experience
My experience at Cholita Linda was disappointing. While the food is often good, tonight I ordered a sandwich for online pickup to catch an 8 PM ferry. I arrived at 7: 55 PM, only to be told they were sold out of that sandwich and offered tacos instead. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to switch and ended up not getting dinner. Cholita Linda really dropped the ball. I'm very disappointed at the moment.
