My experience at this restaurant was mixed. While the food was great and the service was nice, I would advise against sitting by the windows as it gets extremely hot. The atmosphere score was 3, but the food and service both received a perfect 5.

My experience at this restaurant was very positive. I was craving "diner pancakes" and this place absolutely hit the spot. We ordered the Annie & Frankie omelette with hash browns and toast, along with a 2-stack of pancakes served with sausage and two eggs. The food was good, and the service was fast. The waitress was very rude, failing to greet us and throwing food onto the table as if we were prisoners. While the food itself (excluding the cappuccino, which was not a real cappuccino) was acceptable, it was excessively expensive. A significant drawback was the lack of a restroom for customers, which is unthinkable in Europe. I do not recommend this place. To make matters worse, when we left a $6 tip out of respect, the waitress threw a $1 coin back at the table, stating she didn't want it. She was very rude.

My experience at Chesnut Diner was absolutely délicieux! From September 22nd to 27th, 2025, we enjoyed 6 formidable breakfasts. We opted for an omelette with buttered toast and strawberry jam, along with banana pancakes. It was a true happiness, a moment of pure enjoyment. The ingredients were fresh and cooked to order, making the entire experience formidable.

My experience at this restaurant was a cozy breakfast fix, reminiscent of home cooking. While the service can be slow, especially with only 2-3 people working on a Sunday, the staff are clearly working hard to provide a great meal. If you're in a rush, this might not be the place, but for a home-cooked breakfast, it's a great place to eat.
