Value (5.8 out of 10)

mentioned by 13% of the guests

When it comes to value, it seems theres a bit of a mixed bag, based on 5 customer remarks. Many folks found the prices and pricing to be quite reasonable and even great, which is always a plus! While the overall score for value sits at an average 5.8, its good to see some positive sentiment around the cost of items.

However, the customer satisfaction is a bit mixed at 40%, and it seems some guests felt a bit nickel-and-dimed. Specifically, there were comments about being charged extra for a small bowl of rice, with the feeling that it should have been included in the overall price. This suggests a need for clearer expectations or perhaps a review of certain add-on costs.

Disappointing Flavors and Textures
My experience at this restaurant was largely disappointing due to the food quality. The Beef Pad See Ew and Pineapple Fried Rice were bland. The Papaya Salad had an unpleasant texture because the slices were too thick and irregularly cut. To top it off, the Mango Sticky Rice was served with an unripe mango, which was a significant letdown. While the service and atmosphere received decent ratings, the core of the dining experience – the food – fell short.

Authentic Flavors and Great Neighborhood Spot
This is a great neighborhood place with authentic flavors. I visited for a quick late afternoon weekend lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the open yet cozy space. I had heard about the food from reviews and from my mom, who doesn't give out compliments easily. The service was attentive and the dishes came out quickly. The restaurant was full with a lot of to-go business. Other diners had delicious-looking plates, and everyone seemed happy and full. We enjoyed the Pad Thai, fried rice, and wonton noodle soup. My son loved the rice, and the Pad Thai was particularly delicious – perfectly cooked noodles and not overly sauced. The key is the sauce, and the flavors were spot on. The soup was subtle and soothing. There were so many other dishes I wanted to try, so I will definitely be back to try the Lao dishes. I'm glad to have such a great place in this neighborhood.

Delicious Thai & Laoian Comfort Food
My experience at this neighborhood comfort food restaurant, specializing in Thai and Laoian cuisine, was wonderful. The interior is modern and comfortable, with tasteful Asian accents. The service was friendly, warm, and hospitable, and dishes arrived in a reasonable time. Each dish was colorful and looked absolutely delicious, featuring rich flavors and fresh vegetables. Every bite was a treat for my mouth. The reviewer recommended the Khao Soi and noted free street parking with plenty of space. The wait time was non-existent, and the atmosphere and food were rated 4 out of 5, with service rated a perfect 5. The restaurant is also up-to-date with wheelchair accessibility.
