Delicious Huaraches and Posole!
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. The cashier and waitress were friendly. I ordered the Huaraches and green posole. The salsa had so much flavor and the meat was soft and tender. I highly recommend this place.

Disappointing Huevos Rancheros, Great Service
My experience with the Huevos Rancheros was disappointing; it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't very appealing either. I was also charged an extra three dollars for pico de gallo, which usually comes with the dish. However, the waiter was lovely, and the service was excellent.

Horrible Experience, Overpriced and Poor Service
My experience at this restaurant was horrible. I overpaid for a small portion of food and was treated horribly by the staff. I experienced a waiting time of over 30 minutes because the staff prioritized their conversation over serving my food. I do not recommend this establishment.

Excellent Local Food and Friendly Service
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. The food was excellent, with great flavour and preparation. I was also impressed by the very friendly staff. It truly felt like the kind of authentic food you'd expect from a locally owned establishment. I highly recommend it.

Mixed Feelings on Food and Service
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. I found the food to be pretty mediocre. I tried the beef soup and wondered if they used a powdered bouillon. Usually, the meat is fall-off-the-bone tender, but this was not. I also got a birria Taco, and I was expecting a quesabirria taco – not sure what happened. However, the handmade tortillas were absolutely delicious, and the salsa was great. The woman at the counter was very sweet, providing good service.

Birria Ramen and Sketchy Surroundings
My experience involved trying the Birria Ramen, which was a good portion of savory, meaty birria broth served with onions and salsa on the side. The place itself is small, and the ordering process is at the cashier's stand before seating. An attendant brings the food to your table, and there's not much interaction afterward. The location, at 24th Street and Mission near the Bart station, is in a very sketchy area with a lot of illicit transactions happening steps away from the entrance.

Terrible Service, Avoid This Place
My experience at this restaurant was marked by terrible service. The staff attempted to charge me twice with an arrogant attitude. I do not recommend this place; they always try to scam you.

First Taco Birria Experience: A Triumph!
Nestled between a bodega and a frutería on the always vibrant Mission Street, I found the unassuming Casa de la Condesa. The air was thick with the dramatic tones of a Mexican soap opera blaring from the TV, and I was the only gringo in sight—a sure sign I'd made the right choice for my inaugural taco birria experience. Yes, I admit it: this was my first time eating taco birria. But if you're going to lose your birria virginity, this is the place to do it. The consommé hit first, a robust, beefy broth spiked with raw onion and cilantro, a punch of flavor that woke up my senses. The taco itself was a marvel of simplicity and indulgence. Soft, shredded beef piled generously inside a tortilla that had been lightly fried to perfection—crispy on the outside, yet soft and inviting within. The raw onions added a sharp counterpoint to the savory, salty meat. And the salsa roja was probably the best I’d had. I'll be sure to add vinegar to my personal recipe.

Delicious Burrito and Simple Breakfasts
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, especially concerning the food. I had an al pastor burrito that was absolutely delicious! It was a good medium-large size, though a bit greasy. The meats were perfectly cooked and flavorful, complemented by a nice helping of cheese, rice, and beans. The salsa verde was typical, but the salsa roja was a standout, just spicy enough and an excellent addition. The price was excellent, offering great value for money. I've also visited multiple times for breakfast, and while the options are simple, they are consistently delicious. The atmosphere and service both received perfect scores, indicating a very pleasant dining environment and attentive staff.
