Third Time's the Charm? Not at Carl's Jr.
This was my third visit to this Carl's Jr. location, and unfortunately, my order was wrong again. I ordered a combo with large fries, but they forgot to include my fries. It seems like the employees here are consistently not paying attention, as they always mess up orders.
I hope they can do better.

Burger Order Error, Poor Service Recovery
My experience at the restaurant was marred by a significant service oversight. Lorely forgot to include my burger in the bag, requiring an additional 5-mile round trip. Given the wasted time, gas, and the negative mood this created, I expected some form of compensation, like a complimentary soda.
Despite this issue, I was told to 'Keep up the great work. '

Best Carl's Jr. in San Diego!
My experience at this Carl's Jr. in San Diego was outstanding. I found it to be the best Carl's Jr. I've visited, with everything I ordered being 10/10. Specifically, the Santa Fe chicken sandwich was exceptional, earning a personal rating of 100/10.
The food quality, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch.

Terrible Experience: Bad Service and Sickening Food
I would give zero stars if possible. My experience at this Carl's Jr. was the worst. The cashier with a yellow ribbon in her hair had a terrible attitude.
After the bathroom code wasn't working, she gave my partner a really bad attitude. When he said thank you, she walked off, being disrespectful and not acknowledging him. To top it all off, the food made our stomachs hurt and feel sick.

Disappointing Queso and Missing Sauce
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. I found the portion size of the queso to be extremely small, especially considering its price. For $2.
49, I received what felt like a minuscule amount, which was significantly less value than a larger, cheaper can of queso from the grocery store next door. Unfortunately, the queso wasn't good anyway, so it wasn't a major loss. Adding to the disappointment, my mobile order for chicken tenders was incomplete; they failed to include the honey mustard sauce, even though it was clearly visible on the order screen behind the counter.
This resulted in a very sauceless meal.

Understaffed with Poor Service
My experience at this restaurant involved a lengthy wait at the drive-thru, followed by an issue with my change and order accuracy. After pulling forward to the window, the cashier took a while to take my order, which was fine. However, when I paid with a $20 bill for a total of $10 and change, I was only given back four pennies.
During the exchange, I received my beverage but not my fries. When I mentioned this, I was asked to come inside for the correct change. Inside, I waited about 7 minutes, and a customer ahead of me had been waiting even longer.
The manager eventually provided my correct change and, after some back-and-forth, confirmed I hadn't received my fries. She then gave me my large fries, but with barely any sauce, requiring another trip to the drive-thru. This restaurant appears to be understaffed, and the service isn't very good.
My shake was also halfway melted by the time I got home due to all the waiting. I wish I had gone to Chick-fil-A instead.

Confused by High Ratings with Negative Comments
I have no experience with Carl's. I don't normally eat here, but seeing all the bad reviews, I just had to comment. How are you rated 3.
7 when there are so many negative comments? I would like to eat at Carl's Jr. but I'm looking for the best reviews in San Diego. For three restaurants, all I see are negative reviews.
I will probably not be eating at Carl's Jr. Sad!

Consistent Order Errors
I've been here multiple times in the past few months, and there is ALWAYS an error with my order. Whether it’s the wrong fries, missing a cookie, missing extra sauces I paid extra for, or wrong drinks. Today I ordered a double Diablo with the strawberry lemonade with boba Burst.
I got a single meat burger, and a lemonade with no Burst. Multiple times I have paid for extra and received nothing. They care more about their statistics and will make you wait out front instead of giving you your food through the DRIVE THRU.
They continue to rush orders and make them incorrectly. This is THEFT.

Rude Service, Left Without Ordering
My experience this morning in the drive-thru was extremely negative. There was absolutely no customer service; the lady taking my order was very rude. Due to this poor interaction, I backed out and left.
The experience was not worth how expensive it is considering the lack of service. I believe they should definitely switch to a more cheerful, polite, and respectful individual for the drive-thru position.

Slow Service, Good Food
My experience at the restaurant was marked by a long wait to be served by the cashier. When my order was finally completed, the cashier rolled her eyes and sighed, which I found to be poor service.
