Cafe Encore is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm aroma of freshly baked pastries and rich coffee fills the air. The pastries are always fresh, flaky, and full of flavor — you can tell they’re made with care and quality ingredients. Whether it’s a buttery croissant, a fruit tart, or one of their daily specials, everything tastes homemade and delicious. The coffee is just as impressive — smooth, bold, and perfectly brewed every time. They offer a great variety of espresso drinks, and the baristas really know their craft. It’s the kind of place where your latte art actually makes you smile before the first sip.

My experience at Café Encore near Union Square was fantastic! The staff were incredibly efficient and friendly, handling the busy downtown rush with remarkable smoothness. I thoroughly enjoyed their sandwiches, which were fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The breakfast items were also delicious, and the coffee was simply amazing. The dark roast beans, in particular, reminded me of Paris – rich, bold, and full of flavor. It's definitely one of the best spots in San Francisco for a great breakfast and coffee!

My experience at this restaurant was quite negative due to the terrible service. After two ladies in front of me ordered a double cappuccino and an americano, I ordered a latte and a cappuccino. However, I only received the latte. When I inquired about my cappuccino, the lady was rude and claimed someone else took it, despite not having made it in the first place. Instead of rectifying the mistake, she skipped me and rolled her eyes. It was a terrible experience, and I believe you are better off somewhere else.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I enjoyed a great Americano, and the service and vibes were excellent. The pastries looked absolutely delicious, so I'm looking forward to returning to try them.

My coworker and I were here for a conference and needed an afternoon boost. We stumbled upon this place and the great coffee and sweet treat hit the spot. I didn't even select; the staff just asked my favorite flavors, picked something, and it was incredible. I went back again the next day for a repeat coffee and will probably go again tomorrow.

My experience at this restaurant was marked by rude customer service. The staff seemed to deliberately not acknowledge Black customers. They refused to acknowledge us when we ordered, when our order was ready, or even when we said good morning. I do not recommend supporting this establishment.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel like a regular on my first visit. The coffee was outstanding – rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed every single time. Their pastries and breakfast options were equally impressive, especially the croissants. I also appreciated how the café managed to stay lively without feeling crowded, striking a perfect balance between a local hangout and a peaceful place to relax or get work done.

During my exploration of the city, I ordered the Cleo salad wrap. The chicken was incredibly delicious and well cooked. The lady who prepared my sandwich was very sweet and nice throughout the entire interaction, making me feel very welcomed. I highly recommend this place for its great customer service and cozy music.

My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to the food preparation. While it did take a while, my main concern was that they not only microwaved their eggs but did so in reused plastic containers. This means you might be getting microwaved eggs with a touch of microplastic. If that's something you're into, this is your place.

My experience at this restaurant was truly transformative, largely thanks to their incredible Turkey Club. It was served on a crunchy Dutch roll that was so good. While the coffee was just okay, the iced tea was yummy. I noticed some reviews mentioned the service wasn't "Disney" welcoming, but honestly, who cares when the food is this amazing? It might be a little pricey, but the sandwiches were so good, I felt it was worth it. I'm coming back for sure.
