My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The atmosphere was really cool and fun. The service was excellent. We tried the Pho sandwich with entrecote and the crispy chicken; both were excellent and fresh. I highly recommend it.

My experience at Bun Mee was fantastic! The food was excellent, especially the noodles and vegetarian bahn mi. I mistakenly thought the noodles were Pho, but the owner kindly fixed it without any fuss or extra charge, even giving us chicken broth for free. It's great to finally find good Pho in the Marina. This place is perfect for those who prefer "no frills" dining and are tired of pretentious restaurants in the area. Thank you Bun Mee, we're fans and will certainly be back!

I also enjoyed a yummy salad and the iced coffees were also really tasty. Our server was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. It's a great stop for quick, fresh Vietnamese food.

While I'm accustomed to more casual, 'hole-in-the-wall' establishments with incredibly kind staff and pho offerings, this spot holds its own, especially in terms of service. If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of San Francisco for some good food, Bun Mee is a solid choice. The ingredients are fresh, the bread is perfectly executed (crunchy outside, fluffy inside), and the fries are generously spiced. I also appreciated them respecting my request for no cilantro. My only suggestions would be to either make the fries slightly thicker or to add more protein to the sandwich, especially given the price point of $12. 75. This seems to be the only missing element. I haven't tried the bowls or drinks, but I imagine they would complement the other options well. Overall, it's a good joint for a quick lunch or even a more leisurely brunch break.

This theme continued with tin metal trays, reminiscent of a hospital cafeteria, all presented in a chic manner under bright, warm, cozy light emanating from white and red walls adorned with halftone-style advertisements. The overall impression was of a clean, modern, spacious, and minimalistic environment, making it a great spot for a lunch time meeting. Regarding the food, the sandwiches were good, featuring very fresh ingredients. The highlight was the firm, slightly crunchy bread, perfectly sized to hold all the ingredients snugly. While not stellar, the sandwich was definitely well made. The sweet potato fries were also good; nothing particularly memorable, but tasty nonetheless. The drinks were a point of contention for me; if you're from the southern U. S. A. , you might enjoy them a lot, but I found them way too sweet and had to dilute mine with water. The service was top notch – polite and efficient. I believe this place is great to have an office team lunch.

When you’re craving casual, simple, and delicious Vietnamese food without the reservation fuss, this place is worth the visit! The staff is friendly and the place is tidy. I’d like to see some more decor or maybe some table games to play while waiting for the food to be delivered to our table.
